The Weasley twins and me!

Whiz bangs.

Before I knew it, it was September and time for me to move out. I had only lived in the Black house for a year, but I was still sad to leave it. My stuff was all packed downstairs; Midnight was already at the shop.

“Ready to go?” Tonks asked me. I took one last look at the house, taking in its features and smell.

“Yeah.” I nodded. I turned and hugged her, over the past year she has become the nearest thing to a mother figure I have ever had.

“Right lets go.” I heard Remus say from behind me. He was still annoyed I was not going back to Hogwarts. I smiled as we got into the fireplace.

“Diagon Alley!” I shouted and threw the green flu powder to my feet. The green flames consumed me and I was in Diagon Alley. When I arrived destruction met my eyes. The street was dull and abandoned. Ollivander’s wand shop black from fire. The only colour and life you could see was the Weasley joke shop at the end of the street. I had never seen it like this, so empty and dead. I felt Remus’s hand on my shoulder and he had a solemn look on his face.

“It’s a wonder how the boys do it; most of the street were scared off and left.” Tonks said as we walked down the clear cobbled streets. My face lifted when we got to the shop, it was so bright, colourful and not to mention orange.  

“Well maybe what everyone needs right now is a laugh.” I smiled. Suddenly the twins appeared either side of me making me jump.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen.” Fred said proudly and like a show presenter.

“To the best joke shop in the kingdom!” George boasted throwing his arms about. They were dressed in Orange stripy suits, and there hair was cut finally.

“The best huh?” Tonks laughed. Remus did not say a word.

“Of course!” They replied in unison. They each took an arm of Tonks and led her towards the shop for a tour. I was left with Remus who was looking grumpy.

“You can still go back to Hogwarts.” Remus said.

“We have talked about this I this is what I want.” I sighed.

“Hogwarts is the safest place for you right now.” His voice cold.

“I do not believe that. Hogwarts has changed and so have I.” I moaned. Remus stared at me trying to read my thoughts.

“Well if it’s what you want. Just stay safe for me.” He said hugging me.

“Don’t get sentimental.” I gasped, because his hug was tight. He released and smiled.

“Let’s get these in.” He said as he pulled my luggage into the shop. The inside was just as bright and happy as the front of the shop. Little fireworks whizzing around and potions and sweets and jokes pilled up everywhere. Tonks looked like she was enjoying breathing fire from one of there flame sweets.

“Come on Tonks we have to go.” Remus called. Tonks stomped over like a child.

“Write if you need anything.” Tonks winked.

“I will.” I replied. They then disapperated and I was finally independent.

“What do you think?” Fred asked leaning in. I looked at it.

“It’s amazing.”

The room wasn’t as grand as my one at the Black family house but I could live with it. Today was the shop’s opening. I got up and the twin’s apperated in, making me jump again.

“There is a door you know!” I shouted.

“Yeah but this way is more fun.” George winked.

“Here's your uniform.” Fred said chucking me a female version of their own suits. I looked at it in disgust.

“You are kidding.” I breathed as I looked at it. They looked at me seriously, it was a miracle. “Fine!” I moaned. They left and I put on the orange shirt and stripy orange blazer. I looked at the orange bow tie. “No.” I muttered chucking out of the window. I made my way down stairs. “Nervous?” I asked them.

“No.” They answered together. We all stood on the raised platform and they opened the door. Floods of people came in; well it was like the only shop open. People were trying on stuff and trying out sweets. The Weasley Wiz bangs were a hit, the multicoloured firecrackers flying everywhere. Amongst the crowd I saw Harry and Ron. Ron was talking to the twins.

“How much for this?” Ron asked them holding up a skivers snack box. The snack box was full of things that made you ill and get out of class.

“Five Galleons.” They answered in unison.

“Yeah but how much for me?” He asked cheekily. They looked at each other.

“Five Galleons.” They repeated sternly.

“Yeah but I am your brother!” he protested.

“Alright, Ten Galleons.” They shrugged. I smiled. I walked over to the love potion stall where Hermione and Ginny were looking.

“Ladies…” The twins swung over on ladder that moved on wheels.

“Love potion hey?” George winked.

“But from what we hear you don’t need that Ginny.” Fred winked also.

“I don’t know what you mean.” Ginny blushed.

“Are you not currently dating Dean Thomas?” They asked. I rolled my eyes and kicked the ladder sending them backwards. I winked at the girls and walked over to the boys on the floor.

“You need to watch where you are going.” I smiled cheekily. They shook there heads and I walked off to see who else I could find. Soon I was jumped upon by a blue haired girl.

“Electra! What’s this I hear you are not returning to Hogwarts?” Rainey screamed in her usual high pitched squeal.

“I am working here.” I gasped for air.

“What will I do without you?” Dhe cried.

“You will be fine…can I recommend some products for you today?” I smiled. I linked my arm in hers and walked her around the shop, filling her basket with near enough everything. “How about extendable ears?” I asked as I throw two pairs into her bag. I had used them before. You lower one ear and with the other ear you can hear what the other ear is hearing, perfect for sneaking around.

“I need that.” She said putting the Skiving snack box in too. She also bought Pygmy Puffs, love potion, Ten second pimple banisher, Whiz bangs, Ton-tongue toffee, Cannery creams, headless hats and my personal favourite Spectrum splasher. It was a rocket used to scare Umbridge last year. I left her to pay for her items and spotted Fred and George talking to Harry.

“Ah I see you found, Peruvian instant darkness powder.” Fred admired.

“Good for a quick get away.” George winked. He seemed to do a lot of winking today.

“No charge for you Harry.” They said in unison.

“Oh I couldn’t!” Harry gasped.

“You were the one who gave us the loan to get us started, we won’t forget that!” George smiled. Harry thanked them and told Ron, who looked disgusted that Harry got something for free and he didn’t. Business boomed all summer until they all went back to Hogwarts. Fred and George were counting the money.

“Well we can already pay back Harry for his loan.” Fred admired.

“Already?” I asked shocked. They both nodded. I mouthed the words wow and sat down on the chair next to them. They were only half way through counting the money. There was a sudden bang form the window; I turned to see the twin’s owl Eddie sprawled out on the window. Soon after Midnight flew in with a letter from me. I grabbed the twin’s letter from Eddie and gave it to them; they were both from the order.
