“What are you doing here?” Remus asked dozily as he walked into the kitchen. Tonight was his anniversary and the worst night for transformations.

“Can’t I come and visit my dear Remus?” I asked offended. He groaned as he sat down, his face heavy and lacking sleep.

“I am guessing since Fred and George isn’t here, you have had another argument?” he said expectantly. Tonk’s pursed her lips as a sign not to talk about it.

“Well they are coming over tonight to help, so you will have to get over it.” He sounded like he was in pain.

“Fine.” I replied strongly. He winced in obvious pain as he stood up.

“I am going to get some rest.” He droned and slowly walked back up the stairs. We both watched him as he struggled up the stairs.

“So how were the Weasley’s last night?” I asked Tonks. She gave a solemn smile and nodded.

“Went straight to bed, not a peep out of any of them.” She said almost shocked.

“Well they are in shock.” I sighed. How someone could cope with there entire life being destroyed in front of there eyes, I do not know.

“Hey.” Harry’s sleepy voice whispered.

“How are you feeling?” I asked concerned. Tonks got up from the table and went back up stairs.

“A bit shaken but I have lived through worse.” He smiled weakly. His hair was rough and his glasses lazily placed on the end of his nose. I smiled sympathetically.

“So why you here? Fight again?” he said arrogantly.

“Am I that obvious?” I moaned out loud. He nodded as the toast popped up. The rest of the day was boring; I sat in the library reading the Wizard’s Chess for Special wizards. I was going to beat Ron if it was the last thing I did, with out him telling me I cheated. Mrs Weasley, Harry, Ron and Ginny stayed behind as Remus, Tonks, Mr Weasley and I disapperated to a far off secluded wood. As we apperated the Twins were already there.

“Play nice!” Tonks whispered in my ear. I glared at the twins who were standing far apart, obviously they had been fighting. I had no sympathy for them, they did wrong by me and I was not easily going to forgive them like every other time we had fought. I walked straight passed them.

“Right so we all know the plan. Leave me here, don’t intervene unless I wonder off or I am becoming dangerous.” Remus told us all as we stood around him in a circle.

“I will keep the closest eye on you; I can sneak better and track you.” I stated and Remus agreed. Every one else was stationed a points in the area. It was already getting dark, Tonks gave Remus a long kiss and we all went. Remus had already taken his potion, even though it doesn’t do much on this night, it is just for safety. I ripped into my black jaguar form and crouched behind some tall bushes. I had a good view of him. The moon was not even up and still Remus was clearly in pain. I had to keep my heart steady, any change in pulse Remus in his Werewolf form will spot me and attack. Soon the moon rose above the clouds, shining brightly down onto the spot where Remus was. Immediately his head was thrust backwards and his mouth open in pain. His eyes were black and he was panting for breath. His body began to swell and hairs sprout from his skin. The skull moulding into a snout. And that was it, his transformation was complete. I crouched down lower as he sniffed the air, probably for something to eat. I was safe as I had taken a potion that masked my smell. He caught a sent and pelted of in a west direction towards the twins. I followed him low down, watching his every move carefully. Soon I could smell what he had smelled. In front of a tree was a doe, eating at the grass below it. I stayed back as the Werewolf pounced on the defenceless animal and devoured it. As he did so a crunch came from behind me. I shut my eyes in disbelief it was going so well. I looked behind me and saw another doe running away. I looked back to the Werewolf, he was slowly moving forward towards me. My best chance was to stay absolutely still, if I tried to run now I would be in trouble. I lay down on my belly and watched him intently. He was soon less than three inches away from me. I held my breath, desperate not to start a fight. He was sniffing around the area I was in; I was covered by some shrubs. Suddenly I could smell something and that meant so could the werewolf. It was a strong smell of fireworks, gunpowder. The twins were stupid enough to get close? I could not see them but they were close. I could see Remus getting ready to race off. The only way I could protect them was to jump in front of him. I do not want to protect them but it is my job, where possible. I leapt from my position and growled viciously at him. He howled into the air and bared his teeth. We circled each other, I bit madly into the air to warn him off, it would keep him back but not for long. His eyes were fixed on me, and I stared into the dark holes of his eyes. He took his chance and threw himself at me, and a sudden swipe of my paw pushed him away. He moaned in pain and growled at me. I falsely jumped towards him, making him jump back further. I was making him touchy and that was the point. He looked like he was retreating back. He edged slowly backwards keeping his eyes on me. As soon as I lowered my gums, hiding my teeth, he lunged towards me, knocking me down. I kicked furiously and managed to flip him over. He then ran, I followed him naturally. He dashed in and out of tree’s trying to lose me, or so I thought. I followed him successfully deep into the woods. I was getting closer and closer until I lost him. He just disappeared. I stopped dead. It was not good that I had lost him. I sniffed the air for any sign, I could smell him. He was close, but not visible. I looked around and I was trapped. I did not know he was so cunning. Behind me was a steep ditch and in front trees and behind any one of them could be the werewolf. I paced my confined area, looking deeply seeing if I could spot him. It was all so quiet. Then out of no where a leaping werewolf took me out. He flew into my chest and knocked me down the ditch. I tumbled down, hitting sharp rocks and a landed with a bump.

I groaned as I opened my eyes, it was daylight. I was in my human form once again. I was laying flat on my chest, half of my face in mud. I gasped as a sharp pain shot through my chest as I tried to push myself up. I tried again and my left side was full of hurt. It must have been a broken rib. I moaned in pain as I tried to get up once more. I fell back to the ground. I was already covered in mud and cuts. Suddenly I was pulled up onto my feet with much wincing.

“Thank god we found you.”

“Remus was beside himself, he thought he had killed you.” I looked up to see Fred and George looking out of breath, muddy and concerned. I placed my hand over my rib and groaned. I began to walk off, slowly thanks to the rib. The twins easily walked up beside me.

“Where are you going, you need help.” George said grabbing my right arm. I snatched it away.

“I don’t need your help.” I winced in hurt. I tired to walk away again, only to fall against a tree in pain.

“Are you sure?” Fred laughed getting out his wand.

“I think it’s a broken rib.” I said bitterly. George took away my hand and let Fred poke it with his wand. I cried out in pain as my rib cracked back into place. They both smiled at me.

“This doesn’t mean I forgive you.” I snapped as I trudged onwards.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.” They said in unison, obviously they had made up. I stumbled back to the meeting point and the twins were whispering behind me.

“What are you two idiots mumbling about?” I asked looking back.

“Wait until you hear the news.” George winked. I turned away in disgust. It was probably something stupid, like it usually is.

“Guess who is getting married?”
