"No......Carl......Please, don't do this to me...... No, don't go!" I screamed in my sleep. I was having a bad nightmare about Carl leaving me for a girl we met out in the forest.
I felt someone shaking me a little. I fluttered my eyes slowly. When they were wide open, I notice Carl looking at me with a concern look.
" I heard your screams and everyone was outside and I was the only one here so I came to check if your okay. Are you?" Carl asked with a concern smile.
"Yeah.... Just a nightmare....." I said sadly.
"What was it about babe?" Carl asked me as he laid next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Ummmm..... Well everyone from the group was involved in it...." I said flatly.
"Okay..... Now tell me what was it about"Carl said.
"Well.... You, Rick,Daryl,Glenn, Maggie and me were out in the forest and we met a girl. When you saw the girl, you basically gave her the 'lovey dovey' eyes and I got jealous, mad and sad. You suggested for her to stay with us. Ever since you ignored me and you only talked to her. I tried to tell you how I felt but you said you were busy and then you went to the girl room. I felt alone. One day I had enough I went to you room when you were alone I told you how I felt. You then told me you fell in love with her. That's when I woke up screaming." I blurted out, letting all my tears fall at the end.
"Aww baby don't ever dream or think about that ever again. I would never leave you. I love you so much. I would never leave you for anyone. Your the only one for me. I would never ever ever let you go!" Carl said as he pulled me closer. I stopped crying and looked at him in a 'aw' way.
"You really mean that?" I asked Carl with a smile.
"Yes, I mean that every single word I said! I love you Cher! Your the best thing that has ever happen to me! Even before all this started. I will never stopped liking you!" Carl said and kissed my lips softly.
"I love you too!" I mumbled into the kiss.
A minute later we pulled back.
"How about we just stay here and cuddle? I don't think we have nothing to do today!" Carl asked/said.
I nodded and smiled.
I'm glad Carl made me feel safe. He even comforted me after my nightmare. Anyway.... The whole day we spent cuddling and talking. We would kiss every once in a while. It might sound lame, but to me it was perfect!
