Kellie's P.O.V

3 Years. 3 long years I've been alone in this world! Nothing but a backpack full of clothes and a gun that I carry in my hand at all times. What? You never know if there's a walker around you.
Anyways, I'm actually walking on some train-tracks. A few minutes ago I past by a sign that said something about a place called Terminus. It said that's a safe place to stay. I just hope they are right. Also, it said that there was shelter and food. Great! Now I can eat some real food. I hope....
"Carl you need to start smiling again! I know we can't find no one from the group doesn't mean your alone you have me!" I heard a mans voice said. I turned back for a second and saw a man walking with his son, who had a frown on his face.
" but dad I miss Michonne.. She was like my best friend!" The boy said.....wait let me remember his name...... His dad just said it a while ago......OH! It's Carl!
He was quite attractive..... Anyway, I turned back to face the train track and continue walking.
"HEY GIRL!" I heard the man yelled.
"YEAH?" I yelled Back while turning around to look at him. He had a few bruises on his face. I felt bad for him.
"ARE YOU ALONE?" He asked.
"YEAH FOR THREE YEARS!" I said
"ARE YOU GOING TO TERMINUS?" He asked. He must've seen the sign too!
"YEAH, YOU TOO?"
"YEAH, DO YOU HAVE WEAPONS ON YOU?"
"JUST THIS GUN!"
"WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US?"
"YEAH SURE! CAN WE PLEASE HURRY THOUGH! THE SUN IS GOING DOWN FAST!" I yelled.
The man and his son ran to catch up to me.
"I'm Rick" Rick said as we began walking together.
"I'm Kellie. Nice to meet you! I'm telling y'all now...... I'm a weird girl!" I said with a smirk.
"Okay?" Carl said looking at me with a weird face and rolled his eyes.
"Do you carry your gun in your hand all the time?" Rick asked.
"Yeah...... You never when a walker is near you...... So I could just point and shoot and I won't have worry about getting out my gun from my pocket or my gun getting stuck in my pocket!" I explained.
"We'll that's actually very smart!" Rick said smiling.
"Thanks Rick" I said smiling at him.
"That's weird!" Carl said and rolled his eyes.
"Thanks Carl" I said with a smirk.
"That wasn't a complement!" He said with a glare.
"I'll take it as one though!" I said.
I began walking a bit faster, which means Rick and Carl were a few feet away.
"Dad, I kinda don't trust her!" I heard Carl whisper to Rick. I guess he didn't know I could hear.
"Why? She's a good girl!" Rick said. I mentally thanked him for that comment.
"Dad we just met her! And I think she is weird!" Carl whispered back.
Okay I know I'm weird, but I'm tired of hearing Carl say it.
"Thanks for that complement again Carl!" I said sarcastic and walked a little faster.
"Wait, Kellie!" I heard Carls footsteps from behind, but I ignored him and walked a little faster.
"Please Kellie stop!" Carl begged. I stopped in my tracks and waited for him.
"I'll go on forward....I'll let you too talk...... Stay close by though!" Rick said as he began walking passed me and Carl.
Carl and I nodded.
"What do you want Carl ?" I said to look at his eyes. Wow his eyes are so beautiful.
"Kellie I'm sorry I keep on saying your weird......Your actually not weird.....your really cute,pretty and adorable and funny!" Carl explained with a smirk while looking at my eyes.
I felt myself blushed. No boy and literally no boy has ever said nice things about me.
"Umm....thanks....." I mumbled
"You are so welcome beautiful!" He said and winked at me.
I felt a lot of heat on my cheeks. More than before.
"Haven't you ever been called beautiful?" He asked.
"To be honest no...... No boy has ever called me beautiful. Your the first that called me that..." I said.
"We'll I'm glad I'm the first boy that has ever called you beautiful!" He said and kissed my cheek.
Mmmm.... Is he flirting with me?
"But I'm not beautiful..... I'm the opposite of beautiful.....I'm ugly " I said.
Out of no where he kissed me full on the lips. I kissed back for some reason. It felt amazing and perfect. It felt magical. I then realize Rick was there. He might be watching us. I quickly pulled back. I looked at the direction Rick was walking.... Thanks god he wasn't watching. Then I turned to look at Carl again.
"Carl What was-"
"Don't ever say your ugly! You are so beautiful and perfect to me! I just met you but I would like to get to know you and maybe then we could date? If your okay with that?" He asked.
We'll he did seem nice. The kiss was magical and I felt sparks, so maybe I should give him a chance. Plus he has an amazing smile.
"Okay! I'll give it a try!" I said and smiled.
"Awesome!" He said and kissed me again. Only this time with more passion. I kissed back, but felt the sparks again and I also felt butterflies in my stomach. Carl wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around him.
"I guess you guys made up?" Rick said to us..... Oh Oh busted! Carl and I pulled back from the kiss.
"I'm sorry About that Rick. " I apologize as I unwrapped my arms around Carl's neck.
"What are you sorry for?" Rick said.
"Didn't you see Carl and I kiss?"
"Yeah!"
"Aren't you mad?"
"No, I'm not mad. I'm happy because you made my son smile. That's all I wanna see. So if you want to date you have my approval!"
"Wow really? That's awesome! Were gonna get to know each other first then date.... Hopefully!"
"Okay! We'll let's get going love birds!" Rick said looking from me then Carl. Carl and I blushed then giggled.
"Ready?" Carl said extending his hand for me to hold.
"Yeah!" I said and took his hand in mine as we began to catch up with Rick.
Let's just say 3 days later after Carl and I met we started to date. He truly did make me happy, and I made him happy as we'll.
