Practice had been my only solace since everything happened, my coaches, the general manager even the owner offered me time off given the circumstances but I needed a distraction from everything that had gone wrong. I couldn't stay at home because that place was too quiet, I missed being around my kids and I missed being around my wife but me and Jade needed space and I couldn't have that if we were leaving under the same roof. Though we were trying to move past the whole Juelz situation it was hard and there were times when I just wanted to say fuck it...... but too much was going on and I really didn't want to think about it; JD had just lost his mother, Darion was going crazy wondering where Odion had disappeared off to, Mario was on a warpath trying to find the people responsible for what had happened and Cori..... I definitely needed to stop by and see my little brother because his pain was beyond words. After practice I drove to Jade's house and as soon as I pulled into the driveway I saw Troix and Jakari standing in the window waiting for me to get out the car.
"DADDY!!!!" They yelled as soon as I stepped through the door and I couldn't help but smile, my kids, all four of them were the only bright spots in my life and just seeing them made me tear up. Troix started telling me something but honestly he was talking so fast I could barely make out what he was saying but one word stood out clear. "Ofjodanjnfjson....... Bitch." Troix said and I just shook my head.
"Where's your mommy at?" I asked Jakari who pointed to the stairs punched Troix and took off running with Troix right behind him. I walked upstairs and went into Khaliah and Nasir's nursery and even though I had just seen them yesterday it still amazed me at how big they have gotten. "There's my bald headed baby....." I said picking Khaliah up and as if she knew exactly what I had just said that little lip of hers started poking out and I knew she was about to start crying. "Aww daddy's sorry baby." I said kissing her cheek but she wasn't feeling me at the moment.
"Noah what did you do to my baby?" Jade said from behind me and I was almost afraid to turn around because even hearing her voice made my heart break out into song so I knew if I saw her then more likely than not I would have her in the room trying to put another baby inside of her. I handed Khaliah to Jade but didn't look at her the smell of her perfume made my dick hard and I knew we weren't ready to go there yet...... I walked over to Nasir and his Jade green eyes pierced mine, damn he looked so much like me it was scary. "So what you can't speak now Noah?" Jade asked in a sultry voice and I knew what she was trying to do.
"I can speak but I was too busy admiring my hard work..... I gotta admit Jade, I made some beautiful ass kids." I said turning to her and for a split second I was ready to jump on top of her and fuck her.... then I realized she was a little too dressed up. "Where are you going?" I asked eyeing her. Jade rolled her eyes and put Khaliah back in her crib and walked out the room yep we were about to argue. I followed Jade into what used to be our bedroom and closed the door, I didn't want the kids hearing us argue.
"Dr. Ferguson said we needed to date..... so I'm going out with......" Jade started to say but I quickly cut her off.
"No, no, no again, hell no and super hell no..... you're not going anywhere with anybody because last time I checked Jade we were still fuckin married and I don't give a fuck what Dr. Ferguson said I'm not dating other people and you shouldn't either." I said and even though I wasn't yelling Jade knew how pissed I was.
"Noah would you just......." Jade started to say but I had found my stride and the more I thought about it the more pissed I became.
"You were really about to go out on a date with some nigga Jade?! Who was going to watch the kids, I know you aren't stupid enough to leave them here by themselves so who did you call? Camille, Carly my grandma? I swear Jade if you walk out this house it's......" Before I could finish someone started knocking on the door and I've never wanted to hit her so bad in my life. "You invited this nigga to my house?" I asked quietly.
"Noah let me talk!!!!!" Jade said but I had already moved to grab my gun out the safe and tuned her ass out, I took the stairs two at a time with Jade hot on my heels and got to the door. I had been feeling murderous ever since Uncle Zyshaun and Yuri's wedding and I may just end up killing somebody tonight. I opened the door and my day was standing there looking a little nervous and I quickly put the gun up as he and my grandma walked inside the house.
"Boy what the hell is wrong with you?" Dad Two said walking past me like I was crazy. "Jade are you ready?" He asked and I looked at Jade who rolled her eyes.
"Noah I think you already know my date that you were about to shoot." Jade said and I'm not going to lie I felt a little stupid..... but still she should've told me that she was going out with my dad. "I tried to tell you." Jade mumbled quietly and walked upstairs to put the gun back in the safe.
"Noah is just like that damn Khalil....... I remember when I had a lunch meeting with one of my colleagues; hell not even ten minutes in I noticed Khalil, Lorenzo, and Zyshaun sitting like two tables away." Dad Two said.
"Look I know I fucked up but I'm not thinking about any man other than Noah.... I know it's going to take a long time for me to build his trust back but......"
"Daddy, MawMaw gave me candy....." Troix said walking over to me and I looked at my grandma who was holding a bottle of vitamin gummies up with a smug look on her face. I sat there for a few minutes and talked with my grandma before heading over to my dad's house to see Cori, when I got there I wasn't surprised to see Saint's car parked in the driveway, I've been meaning to call him. I walked inside and saw Dad One and Saint having a quiet conversation, it was obvious that they didn't want to be disturbed so I walked upstairs to check on my little brothers. I walked into Marquise's room and both he and Cori were sitting on the bed talking.
"Wassup No'......" Marquise said nodding and I dapped him up but I was concerned about Marquise, he seemed a little shaken up over everything that happened and I knew it had a lot to do with what happened between him, Paris, and Aunt Liberty after the party.
"Wassup Quise' you good Cori?" I asked sitting across from them and Cori nodded but didn't respond. "How's Paris doing? Have you heard from her since that incident?" I asked and I could see Cori's temper starting to flare up.
"Yeah I talk to her about an hour ago she was with that bitch and I went off on her.... I know I shouldn't considering that she's pregnant but she knows how Liberty is and yet she is talking to her and I letting her get inside of her head." Cori said turning red. "I don't know why that bitch even came back, it's like she actively trying to ruin my life...... you know what I'm going to the house." Cori said getting up and quickly walked out the room. I guess I would have to stop by the 'Frat House' later tonight.... but I was almost afraid to go over there not knowing what I was going was walking into; Cori, Trinity, Kylan, and Marcel all living together was a scary thought, not to mention Xavier who was missing with Odi.
"So if you're going to be here a while I'm going to need for you to distract dad while I sneak Stephanie into the house, lately they've been blocking on me and I'm horny." Marquise said and I just shook my head and walked out the room. I got downstairs and walked in on Saint and my dad.
"Noah were you really about to shoot the love of my life?" Dad One asked and I shrugged.
"I got set off when I found out Jade was going out..... but what were y'all talking about? Y'all look like y'all were up to something." I asked and they looked at each other... yeah they were definitely up to something but before I could get an answer I got a call from my grandma and my first thought went to my kids. "What's wrong grandma?"
"Boy everything is alright I was just calling to let you know that Jakari's daddy is outside demanding to see his son." She said and I didn't even wait to hear the rest before me and Saint were racing to my car..... looks like I was going to get to shoot somebody today after all because that nigga Juelz was still at the top of my hitlist.................
