As I got out of bed and got ready to head to practice, I looked over at my wife and smiled; I had been crushing on Camille for most of my life and I remember telling my dad that I was going to marry her and I kept my promise. Then my thoughts drifted to my mother in law.... despite how everyone talked about her when she stopped by the house the other day we actually had a really nice conversation; honestly Liberty wasn't as bad as people made her out to be or maybe it was because I understood her in ways that other people didn't. I walked out my master bathroom, walked over to sat on the couch in my room, pulled a notebook and and wrote my wife a letter like I did every morning my dad taught me the key to any successful marriage was to never let your wife forget why they fell in love with you in the first place. I finished the letter and got dressed just as Noah texted my phone and let me know he was outside, I kissed Camille on the forehead and walked outside where Noah was disturbing the peace of my quiet neighborhood.
"Bro turn this shyt down....." I said reaching for my radio but he pushed my hand away and looked at me as if I had punched him. "Noah it's not that serious." I said shaking my head but of course this he was being petty because I never let him touch my radio whenever I drove.
"Look let me blast my music.... I haven't been on the field in a few weeks and I need to psych myself up plus Jade is bringing the kids up there to watch a little later so I need some rap to prepare myself for what might happen." Noah said and I almost started laughing the last time Jade had brought Troix up to one of our practices he cussed out one of the defensive linemen's kids and it almost caused a fight between the offense and defense. "So how's married life treating you?" Noah asked and I smirked.
"Bro your cousin..... is the most wonderful, sexy, intelligent, kindest, beautiful..... I'm lucky as fuck. We're supposed to be having dinner with my dads later tonight, then before the season starts we're going to a little family reunion so I can introduce the rest of my family to my new wife." I said and Noah nodded.
"Well you know we're having a little party next week for the twins birthday and my grandma said you better have your ass there, she said and I quote 'tell him he better quit ducking and dodging me' and here's some advice since you're officially part of the family just do what she says and don't complain." Noah said and I knew all about Mama Angela and I wasn't exactly ducking her but I was getting sick and tired of passing messages back and forth between her and my grandpa like we were in middle school or something.
We got to practice and everything was running smoothly until the new cornerback showed up, everyone said the wide receiver position was usually the diva position but this new dude was trying really, really hard to make this HIS team.
"I don't like that nigga......" Noah said walking over to me and I completely agreed, this nigga had a big mouth and if it weren't the fact that there were kids and new outlets here I would've been punched this nigga. "Why is that nigga so damn loud?" Noah asked and I really wished I had answers for him, I noticed Jade walking over with Camille and I had to remember to behave myself in public.
"Hey baby....." Camille said kissing me and as we kissed I felt her hand discreetly rubbing my dick. "We still having dinner with your parents tonight?" Camille asked kissing me and I nodded. "Okay... well Jade about to introduce me to some of the other wives, so if you need me that's where I'll be." Camille said kissing me again.
"Ayy you mind watching these two real quick while I go talk to the coach?" Noah asked with Troix in one arm and Jakari in the other. I looked at him for a second and as badly as I wanted to say no Troix just had a way of making me feel guilty even though I knew he was bad ass fuck.
"Man aight just hurry up because you know me and Troix are beefin at the moment." I said as Noah placed them both on the ground and no sooner than Noah walked off did the drama start.
