Saint's bodyguards were no fun whatsoever, before we could even get a single punch in they were swarming the restaurant pulling us out.... Julio made it perfectly clear that he wasn't leaving until he got his food and it was clear to me that the dudes were spooked, though the situation had very little to do with me I was on ten and I really wanted to fight someone. Don't ask why I was on ten shyt just happened some time and I've learn to accept it, in fact that's why me and Donny (Adonis) have grown close because he accepted my issues and he was also helping me to embrace them. His favorite quote was that he didn't run from his demons he fucked them and he was teaching me that when I got angry there were 'other' ways to channel that anger into more productive things. So yeah I was closer to Donny than I was to my own 'brothers' who were more focused on other things than they were their own brother... yeah I know, I know they had lives before me but still they could at the very least show some interest in my life since I did move here in order to build a relationship with them.
"Why is it that y'all can't go anywhere without getting into any trouble?" Saint asked as soon as we arrived at JD's house. "I should be at home with my dude and my daughter but instead I'm here lecturing y'all because once again y'all two hae decided to get involved in some mess."
"Maybe if your security would just let us have our fun and stop being some fuckin snitches you could be at home with your family." Donny said smiling at Saint and I could tell he wasn't in the mood for his game.
"Look Saint, that dude was running his mouth being disrespectful as fuck so what did you want us to do walk away? He better be lucky that we arrived when we did because when we walked into the restaurant Julio was reaching for his ninja star and I'm almost certain that dude would've gotten at least two in the ass." I said sitting at the table while JD, Cortez, and Bishop all got their food out of the bag.
"Stay y'alls little asses in the house tonight.... I'm serious no more late night runs if y'all need anything call someone on security and they'll go and get it." Saint said.
"Yeah that's definitely not going to work for me because I don't like being told what to do, I don't like being confined, and most importantly I really don't have to listen to you." Donny said smiling and I could tell Saint was getting annoyed.
"Listen, you little fuck... I told your sister I would look after you and she told me that I can use whatever means necessary to keep you in line and she meant ANY MEANS. So try me if you want to Adonis, you may be used to men doing any and everything you tell them but trust me you've never had to deal with someone like me, stay y'alls ass in the house or I'm going to have to take drastic measures." Saint said before walking out.
"Y'all wanna go to Georgia? Jay, you wanna take a flight out to Georgia tonight, I can call my pilot and have him set everything up within an hour, I'm telling you we got this nice ass cabin and there's plenty of stuff we can do down there.... I feel like we've earned a vacation. Oh and JD I told you that nigga Tyler wanted you but you thought I was being petty." Donny said smirking.
"Nigga shut the fuck up, you were being messy as well as telling the truth, but uhh..... what's in Georgia?" JD asked with a hint of intrigue in his voice. "I'm not saying that I'm going I just wanna know in case....." JD said and I could already tell Donny's words were resonating with him.
"Man just pack a bag.... or don't give me one hour to set everything up." Donny said walking off and I quickly walked after him. "Wassup BabyJay?" Donny said giving me that annoyingly perfect smile of his.
"I need to get my meds....." I said quietly and Donny's eyes flickered with annoyance.
"Man, what did I tell you about that shyt? You don't NEED them.... you're perfectly fine because you got a nigga like me helping you, you're stronger than your anger Jay, but you know what this could provide a golden opportunity for us." Donny said pulling out his phone. "Ayy Saint are we allowed to go pick up Jayvion's meds from the house?" He asked and I listened closely but couldn't make out what Saint was saying.
"What did he say?" I asked when Donny hung up the phone smiling.
"He said it was coo.... but we had to come right back here, I just need for you to take your time when you get there, stall for as long as possible." Donny said kissing me on the lips. "I'll be out in the car." He said walking off and I had to wonder if him going to Georgia had anything to do with him wanting to see his brother.......
We got to Devin and Blaze's house and I'm not going to lie, I always felt awkward staying here whenever Odion or Darion weren't around; don't get me wrong Devin and Blaze were coo but they weren't my parents... I just so happened to be the son of their surrogate. When I walked into the house I didn't see them but I definitely heard Blaze yelling at someone on the phone and I couldn't help but listen in because he was going off which is something I've never heard.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN HE'S IN THE ROOM WITH HIM NOW, GO IN THERE, GET MY SON, AND BRING HIS ASS HOME!!!!" Blaze yelled. "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHY WOULD YOU LET HIM GO OFF WITH LAJUAN OF ALL PEOPLE..... YOU KNOW WHAT, it's coo.... just make sure my son is okay and then get back with me." Blaze said and heard him walking towards the door so I ducked off into my room.
"Tori... you know that's not Odi right?" Devin said as I listened at the door. "I'll never understand Odi's relationship with Xavier and Maseo but I can tell that he really loves both them dudes and Odion would never cheat on them.... his other half, on the other hand, would have no problem doing so. What do we know about Orion... he's vengeful and Lajuan hurt to his core, it actually makes sense when you think about it why Orion's doing what he's doing... he has a hit list so to speak."
"And you're completely okay with what he's doing, I swear you're getting soft Shrimpdick." Blaze said.
"I'm not okay with any of it Tori.... I'm just trying to understand our son so that we can figure out how best to help him, maybe...... letting Orion get his revenge will satisfy his hunger so to speak and then he'll be able to go back to sleep and give us Odi back. Maybe I'm grasping at straws here but maybe this is what he needs......" Devin said quietly.
"Okay so if you were Orion.... who would be on your list?" Blaze asked.
"Who knows.... given what we've seen he's going after people who he feels has wronged him or Odion, Lajuan for outing him and then there's that nigga Doug." Devin said quietly and from what I remembered Doug was their babysitter that used to molest Odion when he was younger. "He'll never find Doug though.... I made sure of that." Devin said in a cold voice that froze me to my soul.
"We'll figure something out Shrimpdick.... but uhh how's Darion doing?" Blaze asked and Devin started laughing. "Devin it's not funny, I know he's going to be hurt once he finds out Fabricio is moving and I actually liked them together."
"Ayy I don't have a dog in the fight.... I just find it funny that Darion is going through almost the exact same thing I went through, torn between two people and having to make a tough decision.... It's like the universe is showing me what I was like around his age and it's kinda funny being able to see it from a different angle." Devin said and I had heard enough, knowing the two of them I knew within a few minutes the cowboy hat was about to come out and I really didn't want to be here for that shyt, so I grabbed my meds and quietly crept out of the house as some old school Valentino started playing in the background.
"Damn took you long enough.... did you get everything you need?" Donny asked and I nodded. "Good everything is set, I just called my pilot and he said he'll be ready to take off as soon as we arrive, so let's go pick up these niggas and hope they don't fuck up this plan." Donny said backing out of the driveway. When we got to JD's house everyone was sitting in the living room looking somber, like they had just found out that their favorite show had gotten canceled.
"What's wrong with y'all?" I asked looking around the room.
"It doesn't matter, y'all ready to get outta here? My pilot doesn't like to be kept waiting and......" Donny's voice trailed off as someone began walking down the stairs and when the person stepped into view I saw why everyone looked so damn sad, there was no way in hell that we'd be able to leave now.
"Welcome children.... sit down and relax, Mama Angela is here to watch over you chi'ren and make sure y'all stay outta trouble....." Mama Angela said smiling, whelp so much for that plan............................
