*Julian's POV*

The whole night, I tossed and turned. I couldn't sleep. I tried my hardest not to wake y/n up but it was no use.

"Julian, is that you?" Y/n asked. She was tired, I could hear it in her voice.

"Yes." I replied. She placed her hand on my chest.

"What's wrong? Go back to sleep." She said.

"I can't." I replied.

"What's on your mind?" She asked.

"This whole time, the Quads and Jennis had you. What happened to Alex? Where is he? Have they done something to him?" I asked. I could see her sit up.

"I don't know. They always told me that he was ok, but I don't believe a word they say. It's like how I didn't believe them when they told me they wouldn't harm us again." She said. I sat up.

"Wait, they actually said that? About staying away from us?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?" She asked. I took a little breath.

"Maybe, they might actually mean it. That they won't come near us." I said. I heard her sigh.

"Julian, their goal is to make us live terrible lives. They're just waiting for their next attack on us." She said. Her breathing was getting heavy.

"You're right. Is everything ok, your breathing isn't normal." I said. She immediately got up and went to the bathroom.

I followed her, she was leaning over the toilet, throwing up. I crouched down and placed my hands on her back. I gently rubbed circles until she finished throwing up. I helped her up.

"Are you ok?" I asked, rubbing her stomach.

"Yes, I'm fine." She replied, as she went to the sink and brushed her teeth. Once she was done, we both went back into the bedroom.

We got into the bed and I pulled the covers over the both of us. She shifted herself closer to me and placed her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her.

"Tomorrow, you're staying home." I said, rubbing her shoulder.

"No, I'm not. Julian, I'm fine. It's just sickness, it happens all the time." She said, drawing circles on my chest with her finger.

"I know, but you shouldn't be leaving the house if you aren't feeling well." I said.

"But Cat and Jennishka were going to take me to the mall tomorrow." She said.

"Well, I'll call them and tell them to just come here. There's food, drinks, Netflix. You can all just have a girly day in." I said. I felt her smile.

"What about you? What will you do? You wouldn't exactly jump at the idea of applying face masks, would you?" She asked. We both giggled.

"No. My mom wants me to come and see her tomorrow, you know, she wants to teach me how to take care of a kid." I said. She nodded and we slowly drifted off to sleep.
