*Still Your POV*

"Alex? Is that you?" I asked. Sure enough, it was Alex. He nodded and walked in. He sat down next to Julian.

"How did you know we were here?" Julian asked, handing Ethan to me.

"The whole time that my siblings had you, they never let me see you, but they showed me videos of you. How they tortured you, how they treated you. And I'm so sorry that they put you through that." Alex said.

"Alex, it's ok." I said. He nodded.

"Why didn't you ever try to tell me what they were doing to her?" Julian asked. Alex took a deep breath.

"What they did to y/n, they did to me as well. But, they never showed y/n any footage of me." Alex said. Julian nodded.

"How come you're here, then?" I asked.

"They let me leave and told me they'd never come near me again. I don't believe them." Alex said. I nodded.

"They said the exact same thing to me." I said. Alex nodded.

"Anyways, the reason I'm here is that I needed to see you two. Well, you three. Congratulations." Alex said. Julian and I both smiled.

"Thank you." Julian said.

"May I?" Alex asked. Julian nodded and handed Ethan to him. He cradled Ethan in his arms and smiled.

"He's adorable. I swear to God, if you ever can't be with him, I'll guard him with my life." Alex said.

"Thank you for your support, Alex." I said. He smiled at me and handed Ethan back to Julian.

"What's the baby's name?" Alex asked.

"Ethan Julian Jara. Y/n picked the name, especially the middle name." Julian said. I giggled.

"Well, you can tell Ethan that he's going to grow up to be a big, strong guy just like his dad and that he'll be kind and thoughtful like his mom." Alex said. I smiled.

"Thanks, Alex. It really means a lot." I said. Ethan began to cough. I handed Julian Ethan's blankie. Alex checked the time on his phone.

"I'm sorry, but I need to leave. It's been great catching up with you two and meeting the little one was the cherry on top of the cupcake. I'm sorry for just barging back into your lives again. I'll see you soon." Alex said.

We all said our goodbyes and Alex left. It was just Julian, Ethan and I. It was quiet, too quiet. It was weird.

"What's wrong?" Julian asked. I sighed.

"I'm just trying to get my head around things. I'm a mother, you're a father, we have a son together, you're now my boyfriend, I'm still alive, Alex is still alive." I said. He chuckled.

"Stop worrying. All those things are good things." He said. I nodded.

"I know, I'm just one of those people who just gets worried over everything." I said.

"I already know that about you. That's why I try to relax you." He said. I gave him one of those looks.

"The last time you tried to relax me, you got me pregnant." I said. We both laughed and leaned in. We were about to kiss but Ethan burst into tears.

"Someone's jealous." I said. We both laughed even harder as Julian tried to calm Ethan down. Ethan went back to sleep. My phone rang. It was Cat. I picked the phone up.

(C is Cat, Y is Y/n)

Y - Hey, Cat.
C - Hey, y/n. Is the baby here yet?
Y - Yes, he arrived yesterday, around 2.
C - Aww! Congratulations to you and to Julian! I can't wait to meet him!
Y - When do you want to see him?
C - I'm free tomorrow morning. I can bring the others if you'd like.
Y - That'd be great. Thanks, Cat.
C - Your welcome, y/n. Take care.
Y - Bye.

Cat hung up the phone. I turned to look at Julian.

"Who was it?" Julian asked.

"Cat." I said, putting my phone down.

"What did she say?" He asked.

"She asked about the baby. She's coming tomorrow to see him with the others." I said. He sighed.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"No, well, yes. I just, feel really bad." He said. I looked at him, confusion in my eyes.

"Why would you feel bad?" I asked.

"Because I know that one day, I'll have to leave to work. You'll be all alone with Ethan and you'll have to cope with him all by yourself." He said.

"Julian, these are things you have to do. I mean, we didn't plan to have a baby, but we knew it would happen one day. And, it's happened. Stop worrying, everything's going to be ok." I said. He nodded.

Little did he know that I was lying to his face. There is something that I was told once Ethan was born. Julian isn't aware of it, though. I don't know how to tell him. It will break his heart.
