Alec's POV "Madelaine" I say and I see her muscles get tense.
She slowly turns around and I am met with wide green eyes looking sadly at me.

"A-Alec what are you doing here?"She whispers looking back down to the city in her seated position
I sigh and sit next to her. When I sit she doesn't move or talk just looks at the city.
I turn my heads towards her wanting to her to talk to me. To let me know what's bothering her.

"Mads what's wrong?"I ask softly and that's when she finally looks at me.
"I'm so sorry Alec!"She says and launches at me hugging me tightly
I wrap my arms around her making sure we both don't fall and then slowly start to run my hands through her soft blonde locks.
"What are you sorry for?"I ask. What can she possibly be sorry about. "Yesterday you got hurt because of me."She cries tears in her eyes.
I quickly hold her face gently forcing her to look me in the eye. "You didn't do anything wrong. My injury wasn't your fault plus I'm all healed now thanks to you."I say and kiss her cheeks making the tears that made their way down her face disappear
"But Alec Its not only that Jace hates me too! He doesn't want to to talk to me or hang out with me anymore all he does is worry about Clary"she cries once more and I feel my heart hurt
"Jace loves you Maddie"I say and she simply nods but keeps her gaze on the floor. I knew she didn't believe me but I didn't bother talking about Jace. That was something the siblings had to work out together.
I led Maddie back to her original spot and sat next to her my arm draped around her shoulder.
"I love you Alec"she whispeds pulling her head up to look at me.
