Madelaine's POV "Good night Iz" I say softly making my way to the door. "Goodnight. I hope i don't find you and Alec making out tomorrow!" She mumbles causing me to chuckle before walking out closing the door gently.
When I get out I look at the clock on the wall seeing its actually super late. 3 A.M. to be exact.
I make my way quietly to Alec's room opening the door softly to not make any sounds.
I peek my head in seeing he is softly snoring on a pillow. I smile upon seeing his face before tip toeing my way to his bed.
That's when I trip over my own shoes that I left in his room and fall to the floor with a thud.
Alec springs up looking around alarmed before spotting me groaning on the floor
"Maddie? Are you ok? What time is it?" he says. For a moment I admire the sound of his voice but soon snap out of it as he comes and picks me up off the floor
"3 in the morning" I say and he shakes his head at me in disapproval. "You should not be up this late"he says moving the strands of hair that fell over my face.
"Sorry Izzy and I lost track of time." I whisper grabbing his hand pulling him to bed.
For a moment we just lay there when i decide to speak up. "Sorry for waking you up" I say and he puts an arm around me pulling me close. "I don't care I'm just glad your here with me. Right now." he says and I smile cuddling more against him before finally drifting off to sleep
"You can't hide forever Madelaine!" I hear his disgusting voice say. I'm running down a long dark hallway before I open a door. Once I do i bump into someone
I look up to see Izzy. "Iz we have to get out now!" I yell and grab her hand. We both start running when she comes to a halt. "Izzy lets go!" I yell and suddenly blood pours out her mouth. I look down to see a seraph blade pulling out of her heart.
She falls down with a thud and Valentine is standing there with a seraph blade.
"Izzy!No!" I cry and Valentine comes closer but two arms grab me and throw me over their shoulder running down.
"You ok?" the voice asks placing me down and I look to see Jace. "Izzy" I whisper tears in my eyes. That's when Jace falls to the floor a pool of blood forming around him
"Jace!" I yell falling to the floor next to him. Valentine comes in and I freeze in place when he has Alec in his hold with a seraph blade pressed to his neck.
"No!" I scream out
"Madelaine!" Alec calls out and I try to reach him but I can't.
"Madelaine!" he yells again
"Madelaine!" a voice yells and I jolt awake. Tears are streaming down my face and Alec is standing above me with a concerned expression.
"Maddie are you ok? It was just a dream!" he says pulling me to his chest comforting me while I cry my eyes out.
I hug him tightly like he was going to vanish out of thin air. I can't lose him. Or Izzy. Or Jace.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Alec asks running his hands through my hair. I shake my head no my eyes finally dry and then pull back looking him in the eyes.
His eyes show worry and concern but all I can see was Valentine killing him. " Promise me that no matter what. You will never leave me" I tell him and he grabs a hold of my hands.
" I promise to never leave you." he says before pulling his hands back and instead placing them on my face placing a sweet kiss on my lips.

"Madelaine!" I hear someone yell making me pull away from Alec. Jace comes running into the room and his face had a scratch that was bleeding but he didn't seem to care.
"Jace!" I exclaim running up to him inspecting him for any other injuries. "I have to talk to you please" he begs and I look at Alec who nods his head before I grab my brothers hand and lead him to his room
"You wanted to talk. So talk. After you let me heal your wound. " I say crossing my arms and he nods his head.
