Chapter 43

Alec's POV
I wake up to the sunlight hitting my eyes. I turn a bit to get away from it but instead am met with something soft

I open my eyes slightly in confusion. What is that? I open them completely to see Madelaine sleeping peacefully with her blonde hair sprawled across one of the pillows and her arm was wrapped around my arm

I smile seeing her. I slowly get up gently removing her arm so I don't wake her up before getting out if bed and into the bathroom

I brush my teeth thinking about everything that happened yesterday and then take a nice warm shower

I walk out with a towel wrapped around my waist as I begin to walk to my drawer to get some close

"Alec?" I hear a soft voice call out and I turn around to see Madelaine sitting up rubbing her eyes

"Yes love?" I say and her eyes widen taking in my appearance. For a second I'm confused as to why before I remembered I was only in a towel

"I ummm I am going to go.....to my room!" She says quickly darting out with a pink tint in her cheeks

I laugh at her shyness before changing into my regular clothes and walking out with a smile on my face

Izzy spots me and gives me a weird look. "You look extremely happy for it to be this early. Wait you never look happy period unless your with Madelaine. Ohhhh what did Madelaine do?" She asks and I chuckle

"Nothing. I was just thinking about her." I say and Izzy rolls her eyes making a gagging noise. "True love. It makes me sick. But I'm happy for you big brother" She smiles and I smile back before she walks away looking for Jace and I walk to Madelaine's room

The minute I walk in I am met with a furious Madelaine. "Alec would you mind explaining to me this!" She yells pointing to the broken picture frames that I had broken early

I knew she wouldn't be thrilled about that. "I'm sorry love I was just really stressed out since we wouldn't find you. I'm sorry i really am I will get you new ones." I say quickly and she nods her frown turning into a smile

"We should go out today" I say and she shakes her head. "I can't today. I have a mission" She says and I freeze at her words

"A mission?" I repeat and she looks at me nodding. "Your not going." I say and she huffs

"Yes Alec I am." she says crossing her arms. "No your not. You just recovered I am not letting what happened last time happen again." I say and she sighs

"How about you go with me so you can keep me safe" she says walking up to me and wrapping her arms around me

Before I can say anything her lips are pressed tightly against mine and I tighten my hold on her waist.

She trails her hands beneath my shirt. Her touch was sending shocks and waves of pleasure throughout my body and I let out a soft moan as she trails her hands up my chest

"Deal?" She asks pulling back with her lips swollen and her eyes looking clouded. I nodded not even remembering what we were talking about before she pulls back and I am snapped back into reality

She tricked me! She might be an angel but she can be very devious. Jesus this girl will he the death of me

I walk closer to her since she had her back turned to me as she looked at the broken photo frames

I wrap my arms around her hearing her squeal in surprise. "I will go and let you go if you promise we can go out after. Just the two of us" I say and she sighs nodding
