Chapter 33

Izzy's POV
My whip collides with the guys neck causing him to fall back as I drag him towards me before ending him. That's when I look to my left to see Jace finishing a guy.

But that's not what catches my eyes what catches my eye is the circle member sneaking up on Jace

"JACE WATCH OUT!" I yell out and he glances at me confused for a second before turning around to see the seraph blade only centimeters away from coming in contact with his heart

Jace's POV
I close my eyes ready and bracing myself for the pain. I have my eyes closed but I hear a grunt of pain and a hard object colliding with skin

"Don't even think about touching my brother asshole!" I hear a voice that sounds all too familiar

My eyes shoot open to see a whip wrapped tightly around the guys arm that was holding the seraph blade

Its the same whip Izzy has. But this one is gold.

I see the guy being dragged back and the owner of the whip ends them. When they are done they look at me and grin extending their arms out

"Mads!" I yell out gleefully running into her arms before suddenly pulling back.

"Wait......does this mean you forgive me?"I ask skeptically and she rolls her eyes and nods.

"I might have been unconscious but I heard everything you guys said. So i understand why you did what you did. I do want ice cream though since you yelled at me!" she says

I nod quickly before a voice cuts in. "Jace get out of the way!" Izzy yells pushing me away causing me to stumble a bit before hugging Madelaine tightly

"I'm so glad your ok and awake! Plus you found your whip!" Izzy says cheerfully

I am confused as to why Izzy said "found your whip' for a second until I remember that Madelaine lost her whip before going on her mission to Idris

"Yeah when I woke up in Jace's room when I got up I tripped and I saw it under his bed" she says looking at me shaking her head negatively

I put my hands up defensively. "Hey how was I suppose to know it was under there?!!?" I say and we all laugh

"Well I'm glad you found it now we can be twinning!" Izzy says and Madelaine grins

"Yep!" she says and they hip bump

Suddenly Madelaine looks around the room and frowns

"Where's Alec?"
