Chapter 34

Madelaine's POV
An unsettling feeling arises in my stomach and I bite my lip nervously

I swear if Valentine took him I will feed him to the dogs. "Alec!" Izzy cries out and that snaps me out of my thoughts.

I quickly make my way to the rooms and check inside each and Every one of them

Once I enter the last one my heart feels relieved as I see Alec shooting an arrow at a circle member.

Another one comes in front of th in but before Alec can do anything the guy swings at his bow causing it to fall to the ground

He then swings at Alec who ducks it and kicks him in the legs causing to the guy to fall and his blade too

Alec takes his seraph blade out and ends him while I watch him in awe.

He is so graceful when he fights. He is amazing.

I shake my head and look at Alec clearly again seeing him examining the circle rune on the guys neck

"Alec!" I say grabbing his attention and he looks so fast in my direction that I'm surprised he didn't get whiplash

"Guys he's in here!" I yell to Izzy and Jace before running to Alec who seems to be in a state of shock.

"Alec?" I question waving my hand in front of his face. "You were unconscious!" he splutters out with an adorable confused face

I raise me eyebrows looking at him "Are you saying you aren't happy to see me?" I question and he shakes his head super fast

"No!Im just shocked!" he says before standing up on his feet and hugging me tightly

"I'm so glad your ok" he whispers before ruffling my hair causing me to swat his hands away.

At that moment we hear an 'awwwww' to see Jace and Izzy making kissy faces and hearts with their hands

I roll my eyes and walk to the door leaving Izzy and Jace a moment with Alec

As I'm walking down the hall into the living room I am shoved into the wall
"Where is the mortal cup?" a circle members questions and I laugh

"Go to hell!" I say kicking my legs and hitting him where the sun don't shine. I then release my whip before wrapping it across his neck

I then turn my whip into a staff before ending him. I look at the mirror on the wall to see i have a bloody nose

Dang it.

I turn on my heels to go in the direction of the kitchen to get a tissue when Alec appears.

"What happened?" he questions examining the rest of my body for any other injuries.

"Circle member sneak attacked me. Don't worry I dealt with him. I'm about to go get some tissues." I tell him and he looks relieved

Once we make it to the kitchen I reach for a tissue but Alec swats my hands away like I did to him

"Sit on the counter" he says and I roll my eyes yet again but do as he says with a small smile on my face

He then wipes away the blood with such gentleness I could barely feel the tissue.

I peer up at him through my lashes and he looks at me a smile making its say on his face

I lick my lips as my eyes flicker down to his soft pink lips causing him to groan slightly before pressing his lips on mine.

This kiss is full of passion and it was like he was waiting to do this for a long time.

It reminded me of out first kiss. We pull back to breathe a bit before reattaching our lips yet again

Suddenly a cough breaks us apart. "I would appreciate it if you didn't make out on my kitchen counter" Magnus says walking in

I laugh and push Alec away slightly to hop down off the counter. "Sorry Magnus" I say and he waves his hand around as a 'whatever'

"I am glad to see you awake Madelaine. I guess my hard work
Did pay off after all" he says with a slightly dramatic hair flip

"Thanks again for saving Magnus" I say giving him a hug and he pinches my cheeks

"Its ok sweet pea. I have started to view you and your friends as family" he says before walking out

I look over at Alec who has an annoyed expression on his face and he glares at me

"What's wrong?" I ask him as his mood changed real quick. "I don't like you touching him." he huffs and I bite back a smile

He's jelious how cute!

"You know I only love you in this way Alec" I say placing my hands on his hard chest and kissing him slightly on the neck since he was too tall for me to kiss him on the lips properly

"I love you too" Alec smiles before hugging me again. "There you two are! Lets head back to the institute!" Jace says grabbing my hand and pulling me away from Alec

I send an apoplectic glance to him as Jace drags me away.

Once we arrive to the institute I immediately make my way to room and take a shower

Once I get changed into new clothes I make my way to the heart of the institute to see Alec staring at something on the monitor.

Before I can make my way to him some one beats me to it.

"Alec!" a gorgeous red head yells and Alec glances up confused and stumbles back as a girl hugs him

Who the hell is she?
