Chapter 17

Jace's POV
I can't beleive Alec is mad at me! He is the one stealing my own sister away from me and not even caring about Clary! Anyways I have this pain in my stomach and I don't know what it is so I'm on my way to find Hodge.

I'm walking through the institute when I hear the door open and a small thud. Curious to see what it was I checked and my eyes widened in horror.

I quickly ran to my parabatai who was bleeding on the floor clutching his stomach with a pained expression.
"Alec!" i drop on my knees craddling hid head on my lap taking my stele out. I quickly activate his iratze rune but it didn't do much only slow down the bleeding.

"SOMEBODY GET HODGE! HE NEEDS HELP!" I yell at the shadowhunters staring at Alec. They quickly scurry to find Hodge while I look down at Alec

"J-Jace." He coughs and I shake my head. "Save your energy man your going to be ok." I say and he nods groaning his eyes dangerously close to shutting.

"Alec!Alec don't you dare close your eyes!" I yell lightly slapping his face in an attempt to prevent him from doing just that.

"Five minutes." He mutters and that's when he closes his eyes. I panic and shake him slightly

"Wake up Alec!" I repeat over and over again. "What's going on?" I hear a voice. My eyes widen. No she can't see him like this.

I turn my head to see Madelaine and Izzy walking and then they spot me craddling a bleeding Alec. They freeze for a second before running up to us.

"What happened?"Isabelle asks as she places a hand on Alec's neck checking  for a pulse that was thankfully there.

"I don't know." I say and she opens her mouth to speak but is interrupted by Hodge.

"Everyone out of the way! Jace help me lift him up and bring him to the infirmary I need you to be there for your parabatai bond lets go!" He says while I quickly do as instructed.

I hope Alec is going to be ok

Madelaine's POV
I'm walking down to go to the training room when I hear footsteps. I turn around and see Izzy heading my way.

"Hey can i join?" She says and I nod. Where all the way down the hall when I hear a voice.

"SOMEONE GET HODGE!HE NEEDS HELP!" I hear the voice yell out franctically. I glance at Izzy with a confused expression.

"What is this about?" i question and she shrugs. " I don't know lets check it out." Izzy says and I nod walking down the hallway next to her.

When we get out we see people every where looking desperately for what I'm guessing Hodge. "What's going on?" I ask and that when I see them

My heart feels like it was shattered in pieces. Jace was kneeled on the floor craddling a pale looking Alec who was bleeding a lot.

"Alec!" Izzy and I say running up to him. I grab his hand staring at his pale face. "What happened?" Izzy asks and Jace shakes his head. " I don't know." he responds and before anyone else can say anything Hodge comes in

He takes Alec away and I am stuck in the floor frozen. Tears stream out of my eyes and I hear Izzy slightly trying to say comforting words but my ears seem like they are buzzing.

I desperately gasp for air but it doesn't seem like enough. I abrutly get up running out the institute door making sure to grab my seraph blade.

Whoever did this to Alec is going to pay.
