''Thank you for the honesty.. but I'm just not ready to talk to anyone about my past... it still haunts me  today. I'm just not ready.. Matt." I said staring at him.

I felt terrible. He opened up about his past to me but I couldn't give him the same back. He must be disappointed right now, his girlfriend can't even tell him about her past. I just stared at him with a blank expression.

''Its fine Becca, I would have been surprised if you told me so easily without being distant.'' He said.

He always knows the right thing to say which surprised me a bit. I just stared at him giving him a half smile.

''I'm glad you understand.'' I said giving him a weak smile.

''Now cheer up, you don't look so cute with that expression.'' He said smiling at me.

I smiled at him and he pulled me in his embrace. I stiffened because I could feel his warm breath on my neck, he had that effect on me.

''I couldn't stop thinking about last night.'' He whispered in my ear, his voice sounding low and husky.

His voice sent a shiver down my dear spine. I never realized how his voice and body language affected me. I just different when I was with him.

He pulled away and cupped my face, kissing my lips. He stuck his tongue in my mouth and rubbed it against mine. He caused me to gasp, the corner of his mouth began to smirk. He bit my bottom lip softly. We must of kissed for series of minutes because once we were done, my lips were red and looked swollen.

He laid his head on my lap, I ran my fingers through his hair playing with his curls.

''I was thinking?...'' He said.

''Hm?'' I asked.

''Maybe we could go to the beach..'' He said looking up at me.

I smiled. ''Of course..but we'll have to go back to the school so I can get my clothes. I will not show up to the beach with guy clothes on.'' I said.

''That's too bad....because I find you very attractive in it.'' He said.

''Why thank you.'' I said laughing.

''Let me get dressed..then we'll be on our way.'' He said rising from the couch.

I picked up our plates we had breakfast on and made my way to the kitchen sink. I turned the water on and began washing the plates and cups. I rinsed and dried them with the cloth. I turned off the water and dried my hands.

I went over to the patio doors and opened it and stood on the patio, the view from here was just beautiful. The two story buildings and other condos was just wow. I breathed in the air and just stared at the city. I loved being in New York better than being in Chicago. Everything was more simple and better here. I leaned against the patio railing and looked down.

Watching civilians, walk down the side walks and people getting into cabs.

''Becca!'' Matthew yelled.

I was startled a little but I made my way back to the living room. I closed the patio doors behind me.

''Yes?'' I yelled back.

''Can you call a cab for us please?'' He yelled from the bedroom.

''Yeah no problem.'' I said.

I went over to the telephone and looked through the address book next to it, I looked for the nearest cab company and found one, I dialed the number.

The phone rang 3 times and someone finally answered.

''Yes I need a cab, the address is...hold on.'' I said putting the phone to my chest.
