I just slammed the cardoor shut and stamped inside. Elena! Nick said but I didn't listen. I threw the bag with weapons down on the floor and screamed. Why like this? Why did Richard and Lorena have to find out this way? Us killing the reapers they sent? The point has been made, grimms killed every Wesen, no matter what they were of what they had done. I slumped down, my face buried in my knees, my arms around them. Then the tears came and they didn't stop. There wasn't a doubt the Norwoods wouldn't let Ethan and Emma close to me again, and I didn't think those two could stop them. I kept losing everyone important to me! First aunt Marie... then Eric... and now Emma and Ethan! How long would it take before mom was gone, or that Monroe and Rosalee were gone? Or Juliette? Or... Nick...? Fear wrapped around my heart, the tears came faster. My shoulders shook and I began to hyperventilate. One pair of arms wrapped around me tightly and I inhaled Nick's scent. I got you... Was the only thing he whispered and I buried my face against his shoulder. I felt so little again, so safe. Like the time when I was 10, it was one of the first weeks I began to see the Wesen and Nick had come over because the teachers insisted, I hadn't been doing well. I told Nick everything, and the only thing he had done was holding me, listening to me. After that day I had never been terrified anymore because I knew Nick was here for me. This was no different. I calmed down, my breathing went normal again and the crying stopped, though Nick kept his arms around me. "I keep losing everyone I love..." I muttered softly. No you don't. Nick answered. I am still here and I won't go anywhere. Footsteps made me look up and I saw Rosalee kneeling next to me, giving me a cup which contained... herb tea I think. Drink this. She smiled at me. It'll help you calm down. I smiled and took it, drinking a little. It was very strong and tasted a little of berries. My body immediately fell heavy and I blinked sleepily. "W-what... what was in it?" She smiled sadly. A little bit of sleeping potion. Don't worry, it will help you sleep till tomorrow. "You..." I managed to blur out before falling to sleep instantly.

Nick woke me up the next morning, though my head felt cloudy. "Never do that again..." I muttered softly. I am sorry Elena, but you needed that sleep. He said and I sat up with a groan. "You could just have given me a half bottle of whiskey, the effect feels the same." I smirked at him, which made him chuckle. I'll get you some advil and a glass of fresh orange juice. I smiled. Just get ready. He said. School starts in 30 minutes. I immediately was somewhat more awake. "Emma..." I muttered. We would see if she would be at school, if they both would be at school. I checked my phone, but no messages from either of them. I got ready and drove to school. I ran to class, I was 10 minutes late. Miss Burkhardt, the class started already. The teacher looked at me, annoyed. I am sorry... I muttered and sat down. The spot behind me... was empty. "Shit..." I muttered to myself. "Where are you Emma?" Aiden and Matthew, who sat in front of me turned around. Where is Emma? They asked and I shrugged, Matthew grinned. Must have partied too hard yesterday. He said. "Yeah, maybe" I said. Emma didn't show up for the rest of the classes and I was just on my way to the car with the boys when Dean ran up to me. Elena! Aiden started to frown. What do you want? Dean rolled his eyes. Can I speak to you? "Sure..." I said, smiling at boys and walked after him. Have you seen Ethan? Dean asked and I shook my head. "Wasn't he at school either?" Dean shook his head. And I presume Emma wasn't either. "No." I said, feeling a knot form in my stomach. "What happened after we left?" I asked. Well, total chaos as you saw. Sorry about my father again. I shrugged it off. "It's okay..." Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. Norwood were furious at Emma and Ethan, but they wouldn't keep them away from school. I have a very bad feeling about this. I nodded. "Me too, but we can't do anything. Maybe they'll come to school tomorrow. If not, we'll pay them a visit to see if they are all right." Dean nodded. All right, see you tomorrow. He walked off and I walked back to Matt and Aiden, somehow knowing that Emma wouldn't come tomorrow as well.
