The fact that he had the audacity to show up for one day and then to disappear hours later. Ethan suddenly said, bristling. I looked up from my homework. It was a Friday afternoon and I was lying on the floor in his room. "He is as unpredictable as dangerous. We just have to be on our guard I guess." It had been weeks since the last time we saw Sebastian that day in class. After he had walked away he had disappeared as well, which made me worry. I wasn't stupid to think he went back to Vienna, which meant he was hiding somewhere, probably watching us. Ethan and I had been careful with each other in public and for safety measures I had taken off my engagement ring. Nick had been looking for any sign, so far no luck though. Little by little Ethan and I started to plan our wedding, which would take place tomorrow. We figured out we would do it as soon as possible, before Sebastian could ruin everything. I was getting kind of excited right now, not to mention Emma. I sighed deeply. He won't ruin our wedding Elena, don't worry about that. Ethan said. "It's not that. I just was wondering about the fact if it still is a good idea to let Emma help plan the wedding. She is even more stressed than me." Ethan chuckled. Nothing we can do about it now. Besides... you told my your bachelor party was great. I made a face, say it jokingly. Last night Emma and Matt had taken Aiden and I to a club. She didn't want it to be the night before as she wanted me to have my 'beauty sleep' but I hadn't recovered yet. "Keep reminding me tequila shots and Emma are not a good combination." Ethan chuckled again. Noted... He stood up from his bed and sat down next to me, closing my books. Excited for tomorrow? I stared at him, waggling my eyebrows. "Is that even a serious question? Every girl is nervous for her wedding day?" He smirked. Even an all mighty grimm? He asked and I fake slapped him. "Remind me again why I am marrying you." I said grinning. Because I am handsome, brave, smart and everything you ever wished for. He said, acting serious. I shoved somewhat away from him, looking him up and down. "Maybe you could better marry yourself. You love yourself enough for that, arrogant wolf." His mouth pulled into another grin. Take that back grimm girl. I rose my eyebrows. "Or what?" He moved and before I knew it he had pushed me gently onto my back, starting to tickle me. I wasn't ticklish, but some places – and he knew damn well which ones – made me squirm and I laughed. "S-Stop! Ethan!!" He didn't stop and I laughed until my sides hurt. The door opened and we both looked up, Emma stood there grinning. You leave that for your wedding night please. I blushed deeply, but Ethan pulled me onto his lap. Can't you, for the 1000th time, knock before you come in? Emma rolled her eyes. I came to tell Elena she has to go home and rest. She needs her sleep for tomorrow. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. "Yes ma'am." We both stood up and Ethan kissed me softly. "I'll see you tomorrow at the altar." I blushed again and nodded, following Emma outside. Get some sleep, you need to look awake tomorrow. She hurried me into the car. "Thank you again Emma... for doing all of this." I said but she waved it away. For you everything. Now go. I chuckled and drove away, back home.

It was really pouring down the whole way home. Even the 10 seconds walk from my car to inside the house had me soaked. Juliette was just putting dinner on the table. Hey Elena, just in time. I smiled. "It smells amazing Juliette." She smiled back, then turned towards the stairs. Nick, dinner is ready. What are you doing up there? Nick's voice came from upstairs. Procrastinating! I chuckled, Juliette rolled her eyes with a smile. Well stop it and get your butt down here. Nick came downstairs while I took a seat. He ruffled my hair. Ready for tomorrow? I shrugged, smiling. "I guess so." He smiled then looked at Juliette. Looking great. She rose her eyebrows. Really, spaghetti? She asked. Actually I was talking about you. He replied. I just took a sip of my wine and almost spit it back in my glass. "Cliché." I muttered softly, Nick shot me a glare. Juliette laughed. Ah, what's going on? Nick walked towards her. It's funny you should ask. A smile spread on my face and I hid it quickly, I knew exactly what he was trying to do. He cleared his throat. Because I was thinking that... now is a good a time as ever to... um... Juliette looked from me back to him. To...? Nick scratched the back of his neck. To ask... He was broken off by some knocking on the door, we all looked back at it. Are you expecting someone? Nick asked Juliette and she shook her head. No. He looked at me and I shook my head as well. All right, I'll go. He walked to the door and I stood up, just in case. The knocking continued. Coming! Nick said quickly and he opened the door. The moment he looked at the visitor, he froze. Mom? My eyes widened and I walked to the door as well. I heard something about a wedding. The too familiar voice said and mom walked in, closing the door behind her quickly. "When did you get here?" I asked with a smile. Juliette walked over as well. What's going on? She asked as my mother threw back her hood, looking at her. Juliette. She said with a relieved voice. Who is this? Juliette asked. This is our mom. Nick replied, still somewhat surprised. Juliette started to smile. Your mom. Kelly. My mother smiled at her. It is nice to meet you. Juliette smiled back. You too. My mother turned to me. Now the e-mail Nick sent. I glared at my brother, who looked back innocently. She needed to be here. I wanted to keep it a surprise. I shook my head but hugged my mother tightly. She did the same. You need to tell me everything though. And so I did. About what happened the last year... the good and the bad. Once finished Kelly sighed. I should have known the king would pull some stunt like that... "It doesn't matter now." I said firmly. "Let's not talk about it, today or tomorrow. It is supposed to be a happy day." You're right... Nick answered, Juliette and Kelly nodded. You should get your sleep. I sighed. "Maybe a good idea." I stood up, said good night and went upstairs. Even though I was feeling nervous, I fell asleep quickly. Knowing that I would be safe while my mother and Nick were both downstairs.
