I took Sebastian back home. But first I made him apologize to Monroe. He did, say it with hesitation and I was still not sure if he meant it but he wasn't trying to kill him anyway. There was a tense silent in the car, but I didn't know what to say. Everything made perfectly sense now, the connection... Why are you even friends with one of them? Sebastian suddenly asked, sounding disgusted but also... confused. Why can you be friends with one of them when you know what they are? I sighed deeply. "Not every wesen is bad." I answered, not turning my attention away from the road. I wasn't sure how Nick would react to him but I knew that Sebastian needed our help. With the way he acted, he would get himself in prison or even worse... a wesen would kill him. They are all monsters inside. Sebastian shot back. Deep down they will always be a monster. I looked at him through the rear-view mirror. The look in his eyes was one of pain and disgust, and I wondered what had happened to him. "Sebastian..." I began. "Why do you hate the wesen so much? What happened to you?" His face hardened and he looked out of the window. Why do you care? He asked, avoiding my question. I sighed deeply, this was getting us nowhere. "Fine, don't tell me then. I was just trying to understand you." I said, turning my attention back to the road. He didn't reply at first, and the tension became worse. I am sorry Elena... He suddenly said, sounding pained. I am just not used to people caring about me... And for some weird reason I feel attached to you and I know you deserve the whole truth... He sighed deeply. But I just can't tell you that yet. It is too messed up and I don't want you to run away from me. I pulled over, wanting to comfort him. "Hey..." I said, once I was sure we stood safe and I had turned the engine off. "It is okay if you don't want to tell me. We just met and I understand you're weary. But I promise you that you can trust me... and my brother. We're all grimms, and right now that is the only thing what matters." I reached out to touch his arm in a reassuring gesture. He looked at it, before turning his gaze back on me, a light smile forming on his face. Thank you. He whispered and I smiled, turning the car engine back on and driving home.

Nick's car was already parked in front of the house and I frowned. He was home early... Then I saw the second car, and frowned even more. "That's Emma's car." I muttered, making Sebastian look up. As in our classmate Emma? He asked and I nodded. "Come on." I motioned him with me and together we walked inside. "Nick?" I asked, as soon as we were inside. He immediately appeared. Monroe contacted me. He said, eyeing Sebastian warily. He told me what happened. "Hello to you too." I muttered and walked towards the kitchen to put down the groceries. Emma was there with Ethan and they both rose an eyebrow at me. I shrugged and walked back, they followed. Sebastian was looking at Nick as well, which took balls under his ice cold gaze. "Nick, this is Sebastian." I said. "He is our new classmate and..." I paused for a second. "He turned out to be a grimm as well." Nick rose one eyebrow, Emma gasped and Ethan looked shocked. Another grimm? He asked and I nodded. Sebastian shrugged, looking at both Nick and Ethan. "Oh right... Sebastian, this is my older brother Nick. He is a grimm as well." Nick remained silent, and I turned to Ethan. "And this is Ethan, my boyfriend." Sebastian frowned, and a very small smirk spread on Ethan's face, though I didn't understand why. Why are you here? Nick suddenly asked, Sebastian shrugged. I heard rumours there was a lot of monster... I glared at him and he sighed. Excuse me, wesen activity in Portland so I wanted to see it for myself. Is that a crime? Nick didn't move a muscle. Depends... if you were planning on killing an innocent. Sebastian sighed and muttered something under his breath. Another softie... I thought I heard and I glared at him again. "You're not helping yourself." I said firmly. He rolled his eyes, but something behind me caught my attention. "Emma?" I turned around, frowning. "Are you okay?" She shook her head and clenched her fists, which made Sebastian wary. "Em?" I said and she shook her head again, trying to breath calmly. I-I can't... She began and then she woged. Sebastian's eyes widened in shock for a second, before they turned hard and cold. "Oh shit..." I threw myself at Sebastian, stopping him from attacking Emma. Nick grabbed Sebastian from behind and together we held him back. Ethan jumped in front of Emma, he woged as well, snarling at the other boy. "Sebastian stop!" I said firmly as he kept resisting. Do you see what I mean?! He yelled in return, glaring at me now. Monsters! All of them! And you speak of befriending them, you're even a couple with one of them?! He was blind in his rage, and all I felt was sympathy. "Sebastian..." I said quietly, and all his attention turned to me. I just stared at him, and he calmed down. I know... I am sorry. Old habits. Nick frowned, though it wasn't a bad one. Maybe we should talk with the three of us. Emma walked out of the house. Ethan gave me a look and went after her. "I am going to say goodbye for a moment." I said and walked after my friends. They were waiting for me, leaning against their car. They both lost their woge and were waiting for me. I laid my hand on Emma's arm. "Are you okay?" I asked and she rose an eyebrow at me. Does it look like I am okay? She snarled at me and I blinked. She sighed. I am sorry, I know this isn't your fault. But it is all so much right now. "I understand." He is dangerous Elena. Ethan continued. I know you want to see the good in him, but he is not like Nick and you. Like he said, for him we are monsters. He won't stop hunting, he is a traditional grimm. "Still... we have to try." I said and he smiled. I know you will. There was a double meaning in his voice, though I didn't question it further. "I need your support in this." I said. "I can't do this without you and I certainly don't want to lose you two." We support you Elena. Now and always. Emma said as she smiled at me and Ethan kissed my forehead. They left soon after, and I walked back inside. Nick and Sebastian sat on the couch, talking softly to each other. They looked up when I came in. Can I speak to you in the kitchen Elena? Nick asked and I nodded, shooting Sebastian a smile before I walked after my brother. Nick closed the door behind us. What do you think about him? "He is a good guy." I said immediately. "I just think he didn't have anyone when he found out about himself. He didn't know what we know and I guess he had some trauma following him, involving wesen." So you think we can change his way of thinking? He asked and I ignored that question. "You don't sound convinced." Because I am not sure if he can stop thinking the way he does. You see the good in people Elena, and I know you will keep fighting to help the guy... but we have to see what the future brings. I smiled lightly, I heard in his voice that he would help me anyway. One condition though... Nick said. "Which is?" I asked. We won't take him to the trailer yet. We walked back to the living room, Sebastian seemed to be in thoughts, but he snapped out of it as soon as we walked back in. Okay, here is the deal. Nick said, sitting in front of Sebastian again. We're going to help you understand who you are. But we have a few conditions. Sebastian rose an eyebrow, though he didn't say anything. First, we want you to be honest with us. Trust is built onto honesty. Sebastian nodded, still not saying anything. Second, you won't kill any wesen until we know they are a danger to society. And even then, we always try to get in into prison first. Sebastian's eyes widened, but I laid my hand on his shoulder and nodded at him. He sighed but nodded. All right, I'll try. It was a start...
