"How'd you get that bruise on your wrist?" Vienna asks me as we make our way towards the main school building. What bruise?

I look down at my wrist to see there indeed was a bruise. "I have no clue." I reply as I furrow my eyebrows. However I got it, it must've been a bad hit, because it was blueish.

I don't recall falling or anything..

Vienna shrugs, "All well I guess, see you in health class."

I nod, "Alright."

Vienna walks away and I turn the other way to start walking to my first class.

"Hey," I hear a familiar deep voice speak up from behind me.

I turn around and see Nathan, which resulted into me smiling. "Hey!"

Nathan raises an eyebrow, "You're not mad?"

I furrow my eyebrows, "Why would I be mad?"

Nathan narrows his eyes at me, "From yesterday..." He trails off.

What the hell is he talking about? I don't recall anything happening to do with him. I went home yesterday because I didn't feel good, and I didn't run into anyone before then, I think.

"What are you talking about?" I ask confused, "I practically didn't even go to school yesterday. I went home early yesterday because I didn't feel good."

Nathan face goes blank for a bit then a smile forms on his lips, "Oh," he starts and chuckles, "I forgot, Landon told me you went home."

I smile, "Yeah,"

"Are you feeling any better now?" Nathan questions.

I nod, "Yeah."

"Good.." He trails off then pulls his backpack off his shoulder and unzips it. I glance at his backpack curiously as he pulls out a water bottle.

He zips the backpack back up and puts it back over his shoulders.

"I made this special water for you. When I found out you were sick I thought it could help. It's a secret family recipe." Nathan tells me as he holds out the water bottle for me to grab.

"You didn't drug it, did you?" I joke and grab the bottle from his hand and examine it.

It was clear but had a tint of purple in it.

Nathan chuckles, "Of course not."

"So since it's a secret you can't tell me what's in it?" I question.

"Sadly, but it tastes just like water mixed with a mint flavor that helped the actual taste flush away." Nathan informs me.

I nod, "So it's practically Mint water."

"You could say plant water."  Nathan jokes.

"Technically." I shrug and unscrew the cap.
