Yang's POV

Dear journalrino,

Geez I tried to apply for the art job I was looking for again, and they yelled at me for sassing them- WHY- I found it unreasonable, given that they were the ones who made the mistake of my first name in the first place. Welp, I'm still on my library job so that's nice.

I sighed, packing my wacom set up into my bag, personal laptop and USB cable together. I could always use the computer given to me in the library of course, but it would be a hassle to send my progress over, and vice versa.

I sat in my usual dusty and rustic swivel chair, plugging in my wacom, cheap but pretty good nontheless for its price. I was considering changing it in the future, but the compact size made it portable and convenient for me. Pad tablets weren't all that bad and i did adapt pretty quickly.

My dream was to do graphic and character designs for companies, locally. It was too much of a hassle to go overseas. But then that leads to my current struggle- Finding a company that would take me in despite my blunt and straightforwardness. Don't get triggered too easily geez. This would sum up what I want to do, hopefully soon.

I began to sketch, earning a few curious looks from students. They were surprised by the fact I wasn't slacking off like usual- well I was, since drawing wasm't really related to my current job, i was a librarian after all. Some of them seemed kind of scared of disturbing me, but others just asked me to scan their books and cards for them, leaving after catching a few glances at my work and complimenting me.

Some students who were taking art that year came over to behind my desk, and they were pretty insightful, giving me constructive feedback. They seemed awestruck, which was a good thing, but there were just those two snobbish ones who thought they were too good for our lil' planet earth. Well I'm sorry I can't afford a freakin Wacom Cintiq AND pay bills mo8s.

I headed to the canteen, meeting with Xuan, and getting my usual bowl of porridge from her. I usually ate her food since there was no lines, and it was a great deal cheaper than what the other vendors were selling. I wanted to talk to her about my aspirations, but hesitated, eventually just engaging in our usual "i miss Dahao and Euphal(name of her eupho)" conversations, few harry potter references (ye xuan got me into that shtuff), and her gagging on how I fervently express my liking for Min Yoongi.

The day ended uneventfully, nothing accomplished, mind still clouded with unnecessary thoughts.

Signing off,
Yang
