Old Memories

Xuan's POV

Life has gotten super tiring,especially handling a heck lot of new songs and stuff. Everyday we go back feeling worn out and tired and totally beaten up. And then we remind ourselves,tomorrow we have to do it all over again. Sometimes,Band feels tiring after all. But one day,i found something that brought me back like,more than 5 years. In fact,it brought me back to the first few chapters of this story.

I was sorting through the songs,how many copies were needed,which songs needed photocopying and if there were any new songs. My phone was beside me,and as i stretched my back and yawned loudly,i decided to watch random videos that popped up on my Recommend list. Once,a really scary video popped up and i watched it,and i nearly had a nightmare because it was so traumatizing.

So as i turned my phone on and went to Youtube,a familiar video came up,and my finger immediately tapped it. It was labelled "Dances With Wolves:James Bocook". And it brought back plentiful memories from 10 years ago.

Dear diary,
Today we played Dances With Wolves. It was SUPER AWESOME because Diya was playing the solo. And when i went outside to go to the toilet,i saw that short teacher and the long-i mean tall teacher again. What were their names again? Oh ya he's the dude we called MiLoh. I happened to hear the Band teachers telling them to go for Limelight. I hope they ask their friends and family,cos' it's gonna be really epic i bet,especially with the awesome solo!!

Dear diary,
Today MiLoh helped me carry some stuff. I was carrying a heck lot of stuff and omigosh i nearly dropped my tuner,and thank goodness he came!! Do you think i was being a little rude by dumping all my shit on him?

Dear diary,
Today,you wouldn't believe it,but we organized a blind date for MiLoh!! I honestly still can't believe he has a crush on the clarinet tutor,and i have a feeling this whole episode is gonna be pretty epic!! Me and Jo are bringing him for a haircut now,the dude NEEDS to get rid of his long hair that he thinks apparently makes him look "sexy". Bleaurgh.

So many years have passed since all that stuff happened,yet when i heard the song it felt like it all just happened last year. I felt younger(not that i'm old),and happier.(omigod i think i gotta puke all the memories are coming back) I felt like we may have forgotten these old songs for now,but one day they will find their way back to us.

I sent the video to the Band Gang. Still no replies,but i know what other songs i'm gonna be searching up now.
