MiLoh for the life of him did not understand what was going on.

Then again, when has he?

But this time, it's even more boggling, to the extent that it exceeded the reality of physics and math. How was this even a thing, he totally didn't understand.

He knew of it on a Friday. He went to the band room to wait for Tetra and she came out with her clarinet.

"I thought you said you weren't bringing your instrument home today?"he asked in surprise.

"Yea, but then mom and Rocky reminded me that I haven't practised yet."she replied with a smile.

MiLoh wrinkled his eyebrows. Since when did SHE practise?
"Where'd THAT habit come from?"he asked suspiciously. The only answer he got was immense giggling, which only made him more confused. What did he miss this time?

"Seriously though, when did you start this 'practice' ritual of yours?"he said, trying to make her stop giggling. God, this girl never took anything seriously, did she? And what did she have to practise for anyway, she already had her mother's talent. Of course it's not wrong, but what triggered that?

He had heard MSB talk about it vaguely once. They were in the MRT when he brought up something about practising, and 40 hours a day. MiLoh thought he heard wrongly and decided to ignore. Maybe this is what Tetra's on about then, he thought.

~later at home~

He had just gotten out of the shower and was pulling a shirt on when he heard crazy giggling again. Girls, he thought, rolling his eyes. Being the only man in the family is so tough sometimes.

"What are you laughing about now?"he asked. It was kinda unfair, they usually left him out of the fun stuff. Haiiz.... Clarice looked up and smiled.
"Nothing darling, nothing."she said. Well there obviously is SOMETHING right? MiLoh doubted on their sanity at this moment.

Suddenly Tetra's phone chimed. They paused the video they had been watching as she took a look st the new message. It must have been something big, because her eyes grew wide as baseballs and her jaw dropped. The moment she showed Clarice they both let out a magnificent shriek that could have easily deafened him, if not for hearing clarinets screech at home so much.

"NOW what is it?"he said. He was starting to get irritated at all these secrets. Clarice stared at him, her eyes so wide tears were actually starting to form.
"You won't believe it,"she whispered.

"You'll never guess what Auntie Xuan just said,"said Tetra, staring at her phone with such wide eyes she looked like a fish.
"What? What is it? Is someone famous coming?"he asked, suddenly eager although not sure for what.

"They're coming."

Who?

"Them. Twoset Violin."

WHO?!

Clarice rolled her eyes. "I can't believe you haven't watched their videos before. Absolutely phenomenal, these people."she scoffed. She showed him a picture from Google. 2 men, violins and bows in hand, one with nerdy-looking spectacles, and both with the brightest smiles.

"They practise 40 hours a day,"said Tetra excitedly. There it was! So he hadn't heard wrongly after all!

He smiled. Is his daughter retarded? He didn't even know anymore.
"Tetra, there are only 24 hours in a day."
"Not for Lingling, there isn't."she said.

Whatever this thing was, it must be quite a big thing, because MiLoh didn't get a single word she said. Who's Lingling? Why does Lingling have 40 hours in a day? God if only that were real, imagine all the things he could do if he had 16 more hours.

"Anyway, look what Auntie Xuan said: THEY'RE COMING FOR ASSEMBLY ON MONDAY!!!!!"she screamed, bouncing up and down on the bed. Clarice beamed widely. (Author's note: lmao this is total fiction ok aaahh >////<)

Whoever these people were, he'll find out on Monday.

~Monday assembly~
"Good morning school."said the principal, Ms Ong. "We have very special guests today so i would like all of you to be at your best behaviour." An excited murmur spread throughout the hall.

"It is my pleasure to welcome: Twoset Violin!!!"

Gasps and shrieks were heard from every corner of the hall, even from the teachers. Even MSB covered his mouth in shock and when his hand came down, there was the biggest smile MiLoh had ever seen him have.

The 2 famous Youtubers came on stage (author's note: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh) and everyone screamed even more. Even though MiLoh didn't know who they were, he still watched in anticipation for the assembly programme to start.

It was the most entertaining programme ever. They did what was called the Lingling Challenge, even got some students to try, and performed beautiful pieces that MiLoh had heard before but never thought were relevant enough to remember. In this 50 minutes or so, however, they had opened his eyes to this whole new world he had never known, to a world of classical music and wonder that he ceased to pay attention to in the past. I'm definitely watching their videos now, he thought with a smile.

"How many of you are from orchestra?" The string ensemble girls screamed and waved their hands in the air. Twoset was a thing in their CCA, even their conductor watched it!
"Cool! What about band?" The band girls screamed even louder, including Jo, Diya, Yokie, Rathi, Yang and Xuan who had come up specially to watch.
"Xuan was going to bring her tuba up here but we forced her not to," whispered Diya to Miloh, who sniggered.

"Thank you very much for inviting us," said Eddy, the tall one without specs, "do you guys have any questions?" Before MiLoh even thought of it, his hand was up.
"Yes, uh...i don't know if this is a stupid question, but there are only 24 hours in a day, how do you practise 40 hours?"

The hall let out a roar of laughter. MiLoh had never felt his face burn so badly before.
"It's really simple,"replied Brett, the one with specs, "just buy our merch!" He pointed to the white hoodie he was wearing, which had a large clock on the front and 2 hands pointing at the words '40 hours' and 'Lingling'. MiLoh nodded slowly, trying in vain to understand.
"Watch our video 'Lingling practises 40 hours a day' and you'll understand. Don't forget to subscriiibe!!!"

This was actually my friend's idea so i wrote this chapter cos this stupid story had been stagnant for so long, and i love Twoset a lot so here we are!! Hope u guys enjoyed it :D (i will dai if they actually see this so hnnnggghhh)
