The crowd cheered as you saw your boyfriend race across the field. You had come to every one of Reggie's game since freshman year, but started to actually pay attention to the games instead of talking to your friends when Reggie asked you out.

As your school had made the final touchdown you stood and cheered, seeing how Riverdale won the game. Everyone started shuffling out as soon as the game ended, but you walked over to the gate were your handsome boyfriend was waiting. He looked tired and sweaty, yet still managed to look like the cutest person alive.

"Good job, you did great," you said leaning in for a kiss from Reggie.

"Thanks, it helped every time I heard you cheering."

"Hey Y/N better watch out!" you heard another one of his team members yell at you. You looked behind Reggie and saw they had the cooler filled with water. Before you could fully register what was about to happen you jumped away from him, yet still getting slightly wet.

"What the fuck guys," Reggie said in a playful tone, knowing his team mates were just messing around.

"Wait up for me, we can go to Pop's after I change," and with that Reggie bent down to give you another kiss and ran off to the boy's locker room.

You were standing against the wall when you saw your boyfriend walking over to you. You stood up completely and Reggie was quick to put his hand in yours while walking to his car.

On the ride over to Pop's Reggie talked about the game. You loved listening to how passionate Reggie got every time he talked about football. His eyes lit up as he went over the entire game, including his thought process through it all.

You both arrived at Pop's and took a seat in the booth farthest away from the door. You ordered whatever you wanted while Reggie ordered a burger and a milkshake.

"Hey Mantle!" you looked up to see the entire football walking into Pop's, a couple of them coming over to the two of you. Reggie sighed and closed his eyes, whispering something under his breath.

"So Y/N how does it feel to date someone lower than you on the point scale?" one of the jocks asked while taking a seat next to you and putting his arm around on the seat behind you. Reggie's jaw clenched at this, seeing how close he was to you.

"Excuse me?"

"Well you know Y/N, you could do much better than Reggie here. You could get yourself a man like me," he said while staring at you. You knew his goal was to either make Reggie explode or make you uncomfortable.

"Nah I don't date losers, besides I can guarantee you Reggie is a better man than you will ever be in more places than one. So kindly fuck off."

This left the jocks and Reggie surprised. The jocks quickly left, mumbling a few choice words to each other while Reggie got up and went to your side of the booth.

"I don't think I've ever been more in love with you," Reggie said as he kissed you with so much passion you though you might melt. Had this been a private place things would have gotten more heat. However, you broke off the kiss before it could happen, leaving both of you wanting more.

"So you want to come over?" was all Reggie said before you both got up and paid for your food.
