Walking down 29th and Park I saw you in anothers arms only a month we've been apart you look happier.

The first time Reggie had seen (Y/N) and Archie together, he was on a run. He had seen the new couple sitting on a bench outside the park both with bright smiles as Archie had an arm wrapped around her. Reggie had froze when he saw his ex-girlfriend with the red-head. He knew he had no right to be jealous, they had broken up a month ago. His facial expression saddened as he watched the two kiss. Without saying anything Reggie turned and ran the opposite direction.

Saw you walk inside a bar he said something to make you laugh I saw that both your smiles were twice as wide as ours yeah, you look happier, you do

Reggie was standing at his locker, when he looked over and seen (Y/N) and Archie walk inside the school. Archie's arm was wrapped around (Y/N)'s shoulder as he made a joke. (Y/N) let out a loud laugh quickly covering her mouth. Reggie looked down in sadness, he had never made her laugh that loud before. Maybe it was because their relationship was always full of fighting, but he knew that she was happier with Archie. And that probably wasn't going to change. He had never seen the (Y/H/G) smile that big over the years he's known her.

Tears streamed down (Y/N)'s face as she stood in front of her boyfriend, Reggie. "I can't believe you." She managed to get out. "You know all of my friends warned me about you. They told me that you we're a fuckboy. And that you were never going to change. I didn't believe them." She gulped. "But I should have."

Reggie scoffed. "You weren't putting out (Y/N). What did you expect me to do? Wait forever?"

(Y/N) shook her head as anger rolled over her. "No! But I expected you to wait a little longer, until I was ready."

"I didn't know when that would be." Reggie raised his voice.

"Yeah. You're right you didn't. But that doesn't mean that you go out and sleep with the first person that is willing to let you get in their pants." (Y/N) yelled, furiously. Taking in a deep breath, she calmed herself down. She began to collect her things, once she was finished she started walking towards the bedroom door.

Reggie gave her a confused look, before leaping in front of her. "Where are you going?"

"I'm leaving Reggie." Her voice cracked lightly.

Reggie shook his head in disbelief. "No. We always work things out."

"Not anymore. It's over." And with that she walked out leaving the raven haired teen alone with his thoughts.

'Cause baby, you look happier, you do, my friends told me one day I'll feel it too, and until then I'll smile to hide the truth, but I know I was happier with you

Reggie watched as Riverdale's new power couple walked down the hallway. He sighed thinking back to the days when he was one half of the power couple that made up Riverdale, but those days are gone.

(Y/N) looked up feeling a familiar gaze on her, she locked eyes with him, offering him a small smile she threw her hand up in a small wave. Reggie gave her a fake smile back and nodded his head.

Sat in the corner of the room, everything's reminding me of you, nursing and empty bottle and telling myself you're happier, aren't you?

Reggie sat in the corner of his darkened room, the only light being the moonlight that made it's way through the window. An almost empty bottle of whiskey, in his hands. Taking another sip from the bottle he made a face as the liquid rolled down his throat. He knew that if (Y/N) were there that she would be upset with him, and that she would tell him it was unhealthy. But then again the reason he was drinking to begin with was because he didn't have her.

He knew that Archie probably deserved (Y/N) more than he did, but it didn't help sooth his heartbreak. It didn't stop his feeling for the teenage girl. Reggie was starting to believe that he was never going to lose the love in his heart for the girl.

But I guess you look happier, you do, my friends told me one day I'd feel it too, I could try to smile to hide the truth, I know I was happier with you

His friends had told him repeatedly that it would all be fine and that he would move on. But no matter what he tried Reggie couldn't get his mind of the gorgeous (Y/N) (Y/L/N).

He would force a smile on his face every time he saw the girl. But every time he smiled all he could think about was that the girl he loved was happier without him.

Baby, you look happier, you do, I knew one day you'd fall for someone new, but if he breaks your heart like lovers do, just know that I'll be waiting here for you

Reggie knew a week after him and (Y/N) had broken up that she'd fall for someone else. He just never expected it to be so soon. He knew, that she knew, if Archie were to break her heart, that he'd be there waiting for her. And to his surprise, the gorgeous teen did end up knocking on his door at midnight, just a week later.
