( BODY SHOTS )
by zealousriverdale

"Veronica, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier." And now the guilt was talking.

"Don't be," she side grins, "I know I can be a handful."

"You're not a handful, you just care. So thank you. You know, for everything. For being there for me–"

"Ugh okay," Veronica interrupts and stands up from the bed. I'm taken aback by her actions. "No more of this sad, gloomy, mopy character, Y/N. You need to drink."

"No, Vi. I don't drink." And I definitely didn't want to go to that party.

"Well tonight you are going to and I won't take no for an answer."

I groan loudly, "Why is that every time I tell myself that I do not want to go anywhere near that party, someone ends up dragging me in it.

"Because they care," she places both hands on her hips in a serious manner, "I want you to have a good time and I'll even stay by your side. Who knows maybe Reggie will try to win you over."

"I doubt that Vi," I scoff, "He wouldn't want anything to do with me after everyone is around him.

He's probably fine with Cheryl anyways."

I hated to even think about that. Maybe I really did get to him and he backed off or maybe he just didn't care like I thought he would.

"You know that's a lie Y/N. When Reggie doesn't get what he wants he won't stop. It's who he is." She begins pulling me on my arm. "Come on, for once in your life come with me and have a good time. It has to be boring sitting in here by yourself all the time."

God, she was right. It was extremely boring sitting in here and watching everyone else have a time of their lives while I wish that I could be like them. I hated drinking only because I never tried. I hated smoking because I never smoked and I certainly didn't want to. But drinking wouldn't be so bad if I actually just tried it. I wasn't going to get drunk, but I knew one drink wouldn't kill me.

"We both know you're just avoiding him, Y/N," Veronica continues and she was right about that also. I didn't want to see him for many reasons. The main reason being that I didn't know what I'll do if I did.

"I'm not even dressed." I stood in shorts and a large t-shirt. Before Veronica arrived I was actually about to go to sleep before my lame life decided to butt in and tell a story about all of its problems like it was show and tell.
Veronica rolls her eyes and proceeds towards my closet.

"That's what I'm here for," she comments. My nerves were bubbling up with each hanger she pushed aside. I'm deathly terrified of what I'm going to find in that party or who to find more particularly.

She eventually pulls a pair of pants and one of my dress shirts.
She made a face before shrugging her shoulders, "This will have to do."

"Why don't I just wear what I wore the first time I went?"

"No no no," she shoves the clothes into my chest and grabs my shoulders, getting in my face, "Rule number one of partying is to never wear the same the same thing twice. You may think people don't notice, but honey, they will. Now go get dressed, your hair is fine and I'm sure you'll do with the makeup you have on.

Well, that was a dumb rule. I'm not even sure if I'll follow it.

I went to my bathroom and changed, brushed my teeth, and at least tried to make myself look presentable. I wasn't looking to please anyone, but I definitely didn't want to look like I just rolled out of bed though I pretty much did.

The music was pretty much the same as last time and the time before that, pretty much each time there was a party the music was exactly the same. It varied from rap to some type of screaming, hardcore stuff and literally sounded like the party-goers were here for a satanic ritual.

I stayed behind Veronica the entire time we walked towards the house. There were more people outside than the last time. At least something changed. I wished Reggie would just man up and tell his friends to stop throwing parties here. It is his house and he can pretty much get anything he wants if he just used his fists.

Vi wrapped her arm around mine and pulls me into the sea of people as we entered the house. Pretty much there were just more people here than any of the times I've went. I had no explanation for it other than the fact that Reggie's friends must have really invited the entire population of Riverdale.

We finally entered the kitchen which was crowded as well. I definitely didn't feel comfortable here or even safe. Vi drags me to the table where the alcohol was set and two guys were making googly eyes at her. I didn't mind because I didn't want them to even see me. I looked like a hobo standing next to Veronica.

"Berry or tropical?" She yells into my ear and I send her a confused look. She holds up two jugs of juice. "Berry or tropical?" she repeats and I go for the berry.

I didn't pay attention to her fixing my drink. I was paying attention to pretty much everyone. Four guys were playing beer pong in the kitchen. There was scatters of small groups in every corner of the house and I didn't even want to think about what Reggie's corner of the house looked like. And I didn't want to because Veronica shoved the drink in my face and smiled.

"I only poured a little bit of vodka in it so you'll be fine! I'm sure you'll barely even taste it," she links her arm with mine and waits for me to take a sip. I sigh and take one to shut her up and I could definitely taste the vodka. It was bitter and it stung, nearly made me gag, but the juice made it a little better for me. Drinking was definitely not for me.

Suddenly everyone was pumping their fist in the air yelling "Shots, shots, shots!"
"What's going on?" I ask Veronica who gets all excited.

"Someone's doing body shots. Come on!" she begins dragging me out of the kitchen and towards the corner, Reggie and all of his friends are usually at and I suddenly get a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I don't know what body shots are, but I have a feeling I'm about to find out.

Veronica manages to bring us to the front of the crowd, nearly making me spill my drink and begins shouting with everyone. A girl with a firetruck hair was laying on the coffee table with her shirt all the way to her boobs and Chuck was hovering over her, licking up her stomach before he took the lime from her mouth and threw his fist in the air. The crowd began cheering for him and suddenly I felt a little better. I had a feeling it was Reggie and I don't know what I would have done if I was him doing that to anyone.

"Alright, Reggie! It's your turn, mate." Chuck calls out and my heart stops. I couldn't see Reggie due to the poor lighting, but I eventually do when he walks out of the shadows with Cheryl following him like a lost puppy. He was drunk. I could tell by the way he swayed a little and had a sloppy grin on his face. His eyes were completely bloodshot and droopy.

"I don't know who to do it on, man," Reggie tells Chuck and Cheryl begin jumping up and down.

"I'll do it, of course," She volunteers. I couldn't watch this. I didn't want to.

"Vi, I want to leave," I yell into her ear, but she doesn't budge.

"Yeah, that's going to be a problem," she gives me a sad smile and I narrow my brows, "He's watching you."

I still completely when I heard her, in fact, I feel a certain pair of eyes burning into my back. I thought maybe he was too drunk to even notice, but I guess everything seems to intensify when you're drunk, especially how hard he's staring at me.

I eventually turn around, gripping my cup so hard it was starting to crack. His sloppy grin was in a frown and his eyes were narrowed and distant. I'm pretty sure I was the last person he wanted to see right now.

"Y/N," he says my name, and I inhale sharply. Suddenly I, not only felt his eyes on me but from everyone in the entire room. I raise my eyebrows questionably at him. "I want to do it on Y/N."

"What?!" Cheryl says and my eyes widen. Did he just say that? I look at Veronica who looked as shocked as I was, then I looked at Chuck who looked confused. Everyone else didn't have a clue what was going on. As far as they knew, I was just some girl who comes to the party.

"Well then give it up for Y/N!" Chuck eventually yells out and the crowd begins roaring and clapping. All that over a simple body shot? Things definitely were much more different from movies.

I shake my head, "No, I'm not doing that." There was no way I was going to let Reggie lick me inappropriately in front of all these people.
Reggie walks towards me and I couldn't even back away if I tried. Too many people were behind me. He grabs my hand, but I snatch it away from him. How could he even try to do this to me? Especially since what he did last night.

"Please, Y/N/ I'll do it from your neck."

"I think someone needs encouragement," Chuck begins before raising his fists in the air. "Y/N, Y/N, Y/N!" he eventually shouts and the rest of the people begin shouting my name with him. Now I definitely couldn't let this down. not with the whole fucking house counting on me. Talk about peer pressure.

"Y/N, please," Reggie begs.

"She doesn't want to do it, Reggie, I'll just do it," Cheryl comes out of nowhere and Reggie pushes her away.

"Y/N," Veronica calls my name and I turn to look at her. Hopefully, she could help me get out of this because I really don't want to do this. "Just do it. It'll be over before you know it." Or so I thought she would help me...

This was too much for me. With everyone shouting my name, Cheryl gave me a death glare and Reggie begging me, his hand gripping mine for his life. I really missed his hands.

"God, fine! Only on the neck and then I'm leaving. You got that?" I give in and Reggie's eyes light up. I've never seen them do that. I must remind myself that he's drunk and I'm sure he'll forget in the morning. That mistakes this whole thing a little better actually.

"I can't believe you're doing this with her," Cheryl complains.

"Fuck off," Reggie spits and pulls me towards the table. As much as I wanted to celebrate that Cheryl just got crushed at by Reggie.

I was freaking out.

"I'm not laying on that table, Reggie."

"You don't have to. Just stay right here," he gives me reassuring smile before turning around to get something. I felt everyone's eyes on me and I didn't like it. This was all way too much pressure for me. I feel like I really don't belong here.
Reggie turns around with a salt shaker and a lime in his hand.

He grabs my drink and sets it on the coffee table, "I don't want you drinking."

"That's not your decision." He eyes me harshly before his hand brushes against my neck. moving my hair out of the way. Goosebumps begin to rise against my skin from his cool touch and he smirks. Even when he's drunk. he notices everything.

I watch him as he pours salt into my neck and I begin to squirm. He chuckles and stills me with his large hands. There was so much electricity coming from the both of us that it was drowning out the fact that there were people watching us.

Right now I felt like it was only him. He was being too slow.

He hands me the lime, "Put it in your mouth backward."

I do as I'm told and put the lime between my teeth, tilting my head a little so the salt wouldn't go anywhere. Reggie just stares at me, not doing anything. Almost like he was in awe, but that couldn't be right. He's fucking drunk and he had the nerve to tell me that I couldn't drink.

"Ready?" he questions and I impatiently nod my head even though I was far from ready.

I hold my breath when I watch Chuck hand Reggie a full shot glass. This was really happening and suddenly I could hear everything so clearly. All the hooting and hollering I could even hear Cheryl snicker somewhere and I'm sure if I listened hard enough, I could hear the sound of Reggie's breathing getting intensely faster. I wanted to back out so bad, but the salt on my neck was starting to make me itch with anticipation. I just wanted to get this over with and leave. Save me from the embarrassment that was bound to happen. Nothing good ever happened at these stupid freaking parties.

Reggie gives me a look of reassurance before downing the shot and coming straight towards me. I freeze up as his hand wraps around my neck and his lips find the spot that he poured salt on. And of course, it was the exact spot that made me weak in my knees. He knew exactly what he was doing. His tongue grazes against my neck and I had to hold myself together. He was trying to torture me.

He leaves my neck, finally and grabs the lime with his teeth. He eyes me completely as he sucks the lime. Everyone begins hollering again, but Reggie wasn't finished. I could tell by the devious glint in his eyes.

He then, spits the lime across the room, grabs my face and places his lips on mine. Right then, my mind– scratch that, my whole body went into this kind of shock that I didn't even know what to do. I just completely froze under his lips. And hen his hand finds his way to my lower back and presses me into him, I gasp, giving him uninvited entrance. And the only thing that was running through my mind was.

God, I really missed his lips.

And screw it- that was the second thing. I grabbed Reggie by his plaid flannel that he was wearing and pulled him impossibly closer towards me. The shouting and whooping from everyone and Cheryl pitching a huge fit were long gone from me. I was on another fucking planet. I don't know if it was from the twinge alcohol that was still Reggie's lips or the rush from doing a freaking body shot with him, but I didn't care.

He pulls away from me, completely breathless and I needed a moment before I could open my eyes again. And when I did I was awed by the fact that he was still closed. He eventually flutters them open, though, and they shined a bright gold color, flickering back and forth between my own.
"Meet me in my room please?" he whispers and I didn't even have to hesitate to nod.

It's going to be okay again.
