XAEL'S POV

"Don't leave me..." sabay-sabay kaming napabuntong-hininga nang magsalita muli si Jehan.

Jennie texted me an address. I don't know her purpose why she send me that, but not until we decided to go their despite of the heavy rain. We found this jerk kneeling in front of a creepy house. He's soaking wet, and his body was shivering with coldness.

He looks so devastated and ruined. Remembering that sight of him was sad. It's not a usual thing that a Jehan Sebastian Corrigan would do. It was crystal clear to me, love made him that way.

"What should we do?" Napakamot ako sa batok dahil sa naging tanong ni Justine. That's right, what should we do?

"Should we talk to her?" Jam suggested. V shook his head and walk towards us.

"Tingin niyo ba sasagutin niya ang tawag?" He commented. Tama rin siya. Those two have in common, kung may problema sila, hindi nila sinasabi.

"She probably won't." I answered.

"Please..." Nakagat ko ang labi ko. Bakit nga ba? Bakit ka nagkakaganyan? Anong nangyari?

"Naaawa ako kay Jehan..." Napatingin kami kay Rio dahil sa sinabi niya. It's not just him, ako rin naman.

That's the very first time I witnessed him acting like that. Acting like a stupid smart-ass guy for love. Hindi siya luluhod sa gitna ng napakalakas na ulan sa wala lang. I'm a man, and it's a serious matter folr me to kneel. I won't do that unless if I'm facing a very destructive problem. Kaya alam kong malaki ang problema nilang dalawa.

"Parang kelan lang nakikita ko pa siyang ang saya-saya tuwing kasama niya si Lara. Who could've thought they'll end up like this?" Lintaya ni V.

Bumukas nag pintuan at iniluwa roon si Seth, may dala-dala itong puting bimpo at planggana na may lamang maligamgam na tubig. Pinatong niya sa side table at binabad ang bimpo sa planggana. Pagkatapos ng ilang segundo, piniga niya ito at pinatong sa ulo ni Jehan. Tahimik lang kaming nakatingin sa ginagawa niya.

It's rare to watch him doing an act of kindness. Seth don't really care about lots of things, but I guess he only pretends not to care. Tinitigan niya muna ng matagal si Jehan bago ibaling ang tingin sa aming lima.

"Dito na lang tayo matulog." Tumango na lang kami. Hindi rin naman kami makakauwi dahil malakas ang ulan sa labas. Maluwag din ang kwarto ni Jehan, pwedeng-pwede kaming maglatag ng bed sheets sa lapag.

"We're not allowed to leave him like this, not when he needs us." Natahimik kami sa sinabi ni Seth. He don't usually talk, kaya nakakagulat ang magsalita siya. Lalo na't makabuluhan pa ang sinsabi niya. Not a typical words that a Seth Lazaro would say.

Napangiti ako. He acts immature sometimes, but the truth is, mas marami siyang pinagdaanan na mas mabigat pa sa problema namin. Sure, we've got personal problems and issues too, but his was
different. Maybe that's why, somehow, he's more mature than us. Hindi nga lang halata dahil sa pag-uugali niya.

Do you know the reason why he always sleeps? I guess you don't know why, but there's a reason behind that. He had a girlfriend back when we're highschool. That girl was his first love, and childhood friend. Everything was smooth between them, but not until his girlfriend was diagnosed having a Brain Tumor--with only months left to live.
