lx. CALL MY NAME AND TEN OF ME WILL FOLLOW.
catch the midnight train
meet me out in Paris
ice skating halfway up the Eiffel Tower
touching the stars and listening to the
way they sing.book a flight
find me with a dim flashlight
in the alleyways japan hide
partying loudly underground
glossed heels on glass tables
ignoring the pounding in my head.slide your card in the subway
of New York City
listen to my voicemail
that only says goodnight
even though you aren't convinced
with the thump of music
blaring me out.a restless soul
searching for better days
a piece of me being left behind
in different reflections
imprinted on strangers skins in
ways they can't explain.don't hold me down
but join me on this journey
and be ready to find yourself
in places you've never been
and lose yourself in the corners of
cities that you'll never find.ride the thunder
kiss the sun a good morning
in the depths of this skin
never forget these memories
and where a piece of you begins.
