xliii. IN WHICH PRINCE CHARMING DROVE HER AWAY.
late july
through full branches in the woods
he lost track of where she was
even with the echo of footsteps
that surrounded him
he couldn't see where
she had gone.he searched and looked
snap branches in white knuckled fists
cut down tree by tree
but with nothing left
that the forest once held
she was still no where to be found.he fell to his knees
as snowflakes melted upon his shoulders
and turned his dark hair white
as he began to mourn
for everything he had.as his axe trailed behind him
a slouched ghost he was
he realized that maybe
he was the one
to send her away.( he hasn't forgave himself since. )
