lxxviii. STRAIGHTJACKET, ONLY MISSING PADDED WALLS.
arms wrapped around, i feel whole. your embrace keeps me warm, lit charcoal as red flames reach for the roof. wished on stars that burn out, hoping in nightmares you never let go.
it was only to my aware when i awoke from these nightmares that i held myself
all through the night
and i felt my heart sink
as i continued to feel hollow
all over again.
