"Hon, the kids are in the car already. Are you done there?" Alex asks peeping at the door. We're going to my agent for some appointments but first, we have to drop the coconuts to school.

"Yes, I'm coming baby." I put on some lipstick and check myself on the mirror. Satisfied with my look, I get my bag and turn to see him smirking at me.

Then he leans for a kiss, totally ruining my lipstick, but I don't care though. I kiss him back. I miss intimate moments like this with Alex. It's the second week of January and we've been busy with our careers lately. We only had quality time through the holidays. And perhaps that's where the tabloids got their speculation that me and Arod are on the brink of breaking up, which, is totally just made-up.

"I miss you," he says softly after the kiss.

"Miss you too, my macho. We didn't had so much time together these days." I say with a childish pout.

We walk together to our car where Max and Emmé are waiting at the backseat.

"I know. And I'm not gonna be home this weekend. I'll be away for my appointments in Sacramento."

As gentleman as he is, opens the car door for me. I ask him before entering, "And how many days you'll be away?"

He sighs, "Five days."

I sigh and sit on the front seat then he closes the door and goes to the driver's seat.

I am not so looking forward to the weekend and three more days after that. Besides staying at home, I'll just make myself busy with the coconuts since I don't have much to do this Saturday and Sunday. I just realized that I haven't made any plans this weekend.

I scan my phone to see if I can find something then I suddenly remember Leah so I start typing her a message.

iMessage from Me > Leah: Got nothing to do on Saturday. Wanna hang out? 😏

"What are your plans for the weekend while I'm away?", Alex asks randomly as he reaches out for my hand and give it a light squeeze.

I am about to press "send" then I just realize something so I cancel sending it to Leah.

"I'm going to see a friend."

I just copy the whole text and send it to someone else. I still have Ryan's number. I hope he hasn't changed it.

"What friend?" he asks, letting go of my hand and goes back to the wheel.

"An old co-star." I didn't tell who exactly I'm going to meet but that was still an honest answer. Alex didn't ask further details anyway.

Now I have something to look forward to for the weekend. 😏🙏
