"Let's play a little game, shall we?" The voice of my evil half-brother Ramsay echoed in my head. Panic bubbled in my throat as I tried to locate him. I was in a dark room, large, with a small window being the only source of light. My skin crawled with fear. "This one's called 'how loud can Y/N scream.' Shall we begin?" I shook my head violently. The disembodied voice chuckled. Tears brimmed in my eyes and my jaw clenched. I felt a cold hand grip my forearm. I attempted to jerk it away, but the hand was too strong. I thrashed and flailed in vain. The voice called my name. I began to scream and sob. "Y/N. Y/N. Y/N!"

My eyes snapped open. I breathed deeply, trying to control my trembling body. My cheeks were wet with tears. Just a nightmare, I thought. "My love, calm down." I heard my wife Margaery beside me. I sighed in relief. Her gentle hands cupped my face as she looked down at me. A concerned expression painted onto her gorgeous features, she stroked my face soothingly. I felt sweaty, clammy and uneasy.

Sitting up in our bed, I took a shaky breath and put my head in my hands. More tears spilled down my face. Margaery rubbed my back gently and kissed my temple. She was aware of my frequent bad dreams about Ramsay.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled, hiccuping through my tears.
"Do not fret, my love. It is ok to have nightmares, and no wonder you do, with what you've experienced." She gently pried my hands away from my face. "There's my gorgeous girl." I smiled weakly. She grasped my chin softly and gazed lovingly at me. "You are so strong, Y/N, the strongest person I know." The sincerity in her tone warmed my heart. She placed a feather-light kiss to my lips and stroked my hair back from my face.

When we pulled away, she guided me to lie back down. She opened her arms and I snuggled into them. Staring up at the ceiling, I rested my head against her chest. Margaery kisses my hair and reached for my hand, lacing our fingers together. I sighed, hating myself for waking her up.
"I'm sorry I woke you."
"Darling, it's no problem. I'm just glad you're ok." She whispered and squeezed my hand. A swell of love for the woman I was wrapped in the embrace of washed through me. I leaned up and pressed our lips together. She caressed my face lightly.

"I love you." I murmured against her lips.
"I love you too." I smiled, all thoughts of my brother forgotten. "Now hush, get some sleep my beauty." She said pulling the covers up to our chins. "Goodnight, my love."
"Goodnight, my gorgeous."

********
Short and sweet for Margaery. I was so bitter when she died, like Cersei could actually go die.
