When Your Sick

It's been a week since the boys were ill and now your sick! You have a sore throat, a cough, your sneezing, you have a fever and a headache, and your super nauseated.

Splinter diagnosed you with the flu and a cold. You are extremely irritated because you have to stay quarantined in bed all day.

You are also feeling extra ratty due to the mutagen in your system messing with your hormones.

Little did you know, the boys thought it was all their fault that you were sick.

"We got mummy sick now she probably doesn't love us anymore!" Leo sniffed.

"Why?" "Splinter says everyone gets sick!" Donnie replied sadly in shock.

"Yeah...but she had to take care of us!" Raph added crying in his little hands.

"Yeah your right she must be really mad at us she's been in her room all day." Mikey whimpered.

They all huddled together in a little green ball and just cried hoping their mummy didn't hate them.

Meanwhile, Splinter was about to bring you soup when he heard little sniffles.

He went to the living room and say his little turtles crying and huddled in a corner of the room.

"My sons, what's the matter?" "Why are you crying?" He asked in concern.

"M-Mummy must be mad at us!" Donnie cried. "W-We got her sick!"

Splinter picked up his pitiful boys and cuddled them close. "Now, why would she hate you?" "It isn't your fault she got sick."

"Yeah but she had to take care of us and we got her sick!" Raph added tearfully.

"Your mother took care of you because she loves you, she would never hate you simply because you got her ill."

"Really, so she still loves us?" Mikey asked excitedly. Splinter nodded with a smile.

"Of course she loves you!" He replied hugging them. They smiled again.

"We wanna do something nice for mummy to make her feel better." Leo says.

"Ok, why don't I help you make her favorite soup and hot tea?" Splinter suggested.

"Yeah, mummy will love it!" They smoked thinkng about how much she would love it.

Splinter helped Leo make the soup, and assisted Raph with the hit tea, Donnie got some ice pops, and Mikey grabbed some chocolate.

"Let's bring it to her so she can eat it in bed." Splinter said carrying the hot soup on a tray.

The boys nodded. That sounded like a great idea! "I'll give give her some of my ice pops!" Donnie said.

"I'll bring her the soup!" Leo added gently grabbing the hot tray.

"I'll bring her some tea!" Raph says grabbing your favorite tea cup and a kettle.

"And I'll bring her her favorite chocolate!" Mikey said grabbing the small bar.

They all top-toed to your room and Splinter went in first. "(Y/N), the boys have something for you."

"Ok, send them in." You say wondering what it could be. The boys walk in and you gasp.

You see Leo carefully bringing you soup, Raph pouring you tea, Donnie giving you ice pops, and Mikey handing you chocolate.

"The soup is for your nose!" Leo says knowing you have a stuffy nose.

"The tea is for your fever!" Raph says. "And the ice pops are for your throat!"

"And finally, the chocolate for your headache and nausea!" Mikey said excitedly.

You smile already feeling a lot better. "Thank you boys so much!" You kiss their cheek.

"So you still love us?" Donnie asks almost in a whisper. Leo, Raph, and Mikey shush him.

You are shocked. "Donatello, why would you say that?" "Of course I love you why wouldn't I?"

Splinter sighs. "They are convinced that since they got you ill you will hate them."

"Boys, come up here." You say gently. They climb up and cuddle with you.

"What made you believe I wouldn't love you anymore?" You ask soothingly.

"We just thought that you would." Mikey mumbles burying his face in your shoulder.

"I promise you boys, I will never ever hate you, I love you very very much." You say.

They nuzzle you for a while and you all end up falling asleep together. Splinter smiles.

"Feel better soon, (Y/N)."
