When Vivian Gets Scared

Everyone is afraid of something, including your big brave sons, your wise husband and even you!

Your little Vivian says that she isn't afraid of anything, but soon she might change her mind...

Your making breakfast on the stove when your sons run in looking excited. You know they want something because they're giving you the 'look'.

You smile and look over your shoulder. "What's up boys?" You ask, waiting for them to tell you.

They look up at you with puppy dog eyes making you smile. "Ok, what do you want this time?" You ask.

"Mum, there's a really awesome movie on tv tonight so can we please stay up late to watch it?" Leo begged with a pleading look.

You think a moment. "What's it about and when does it end?" You ask, not wanting them to be up too late.

"It's about an alien invasion on earth and it starts at 8 and ends at 10:30." Donnie says.

You nod. "Alright, but please make sure Vivian doesn't watch it, she'll end up with nightmares."

They nod. "We won't let her watch it mum, honest." Raph says sincerely.

"Besides, she'll probably be asleep by the time it starts, so she won't when know!" Mikey adds.

You think that that before smiling. "Ok, then you may watch the movie." You say happily.

They all cheer and hug you tightly, knocking the air out of you. You hug them back and kiss their foreheads.

"Thank you mum, your the best mum ever!" Leo says happily as he kisses your cheek lovingly.

You smile. "Your welcome boys, enjoy your movie tonight." You say with a little laugh.

It's only morning, so they still have the whole day before they are able to watch it.

You head to the bedroom where Splinter is just finishing putting on his kimono. He smiles warmly.

"Good morning (Y/N)." He says kindly, planting a kiss on your lips. You laugh and return the kiss.

"Morning, just so you know, the boys are watching a movie later." You say with a smile.

"Oh?" Splinter says in surprise. "Are they staying up late?" He asks. You shake your head.

"Not too late, just till about 10." You reply with a shrug. "It's some alien invasion movie."

"Vivian will not be watching it, I presume?" He asks as he strokes his goatee thoughtfully.

"No, I already told them not to let her watch it because it might scare her, she'll be asleep before it starts anyway."

Splinter nods and smoothes your fur from your eyes. "You look beautiful this morning." He whispers.

You laugh. "I do not, I have bed fur still!" You squeak as you pat down your wild fur.

Splinter just laughs. "You always look beautiful dear, don't you worry about it."

Later that night....

It's 7:30 at night. The day went by pretty quickly, and little Vivian had no idea about the movie.

You didn't tell her because you didn't want her to become curious and try to watch it, so she didn't know a thing about it.

Vivian's bedtime is right before 8, so she gets ready at 7:45, after playing all day.

"Mummy, I'm not afraid of anything!" She tells you as you help her into her pajamas.

"Everyone is afraid of something honey, I'm sure you are too, you just haven't found out what it is yet." You remind her.
