When They Have Girlfriends

It's been a while since your son's dates with the girls, and now the boys want to ask the girls to be their girlfriends!

Leo walks in blushing and smiling. "Mum....uh can I ask you something?" He asks nervously, but happily.

You smile. "Of course sweetheart, what's on your mind?" He takes a deep breath. "I want to ask Roxy to be my girlfriend."

You jump up, squealing. "Aw sweetie, that's great!" He blushes even more. "Are you going to ask her?"

Leo nods. "Yeah, she really liked the date we had a while back and I think I should do something similar to ask her to be my girlfriend."

You smile. "That's a great idea honey!" You say cheerfully. "Let me know what she says!" He nods, grinning.

Leo's pov:

I've made up my mind...I'm going to ask Roxy to be my girlfriend! I'm going to write a letter to her like I did last time....

Only this time I'll ask her to be my girlfriend!

No one's pov:

You're making lunch when Raph walks in. "Mum, I want to ask Mona Lisa to be my girlfriend."

You smile and hug him. "Aw, sweetheart I'm sure she'll say yes...how are you planning on asking her?"

Raph hums. "I was thinking of maybe...painting her something? I'm bad at it though." He mutters.

You kiss his forehead. "She likes paint?" You ask. He nods. "Yeah, paintballing...but I don't know what else to do!"

You think a moment. "Why don't you paint a heart and give it to her....you could ask her then!"

He smiles and thanks you before asking Mikey to borrow some of his paint. You smile and laugh as you continue making food.

A little bit later, Donnie wanders in. "Hey mum, remember that experiment me and April did?"

You nod. "You're going to use it to ask her to be your girlfriend?" You smile. He nods and grins. "Yup!"

"Do you need any help?" You ask. Donnie shakes his head and smiles. "No...but if you hear any explosions, now you know why."

You laugh and roll your eyes. "Thanks for the warning." He laughs and runs off to his lab to work on it.

You smile as you continue to read your book, but you jump every once in a while due to an explosion.

After dinner, you walk into the kitchen to grab a cheesesicle and find Mikey baking cupcakes. You immediately reach for one.

Mikey gasps and lightly slaps your hand away. "Mum, those aren't for you...their for Katie!"

You grin, hugging him as tightly as you can. "Oh sweetie, are you asking her to be your girlfriend?" You ask.

He nods. "I'm going to make her favorite...raspberry with chocolate frosting...and write it out in white chocolate chips!"

"Aw!" You squeal. "That's so adorable!" You hug him even tighter. Mikey laughs and pats your head.

"Um, mummy....I really love you but can you please let me go so I can finish these cupcakes?"

You let him go. "Have fun sweetheart, and let me know what she says! I'm sure she'll say yes right away!"

He promises to tell you what happens and turns his attention back to the cupcakes, beginning to frost them.

You go find Splinter who is lying in bed reading a book. You cuddle next to him and hug him tight.

"Hello my dear...I know that look on your face when I see it...what is going on?" He says in amusement.
