When You Tell Them

You open your eyes as you remember what you found out a few hours ago. You smile and get up.

You decide to tell Splinter first and find him meditating in the dojo. You walk up to him.

"Hi Splinty." You say beaming. Splinter startles and looks up at you with confusion.

"(Y/N)?" "Why are you out of bed?" "Are you feeling better?" "Do you need anything?" He asks.

You grin at his concern. "I'm great!" "I have something to tell you, something important!"

Splinter smiles and nods for you to continue. You take a deep breath and tell him.

"Well, remember what we did a few weeks ago?" "You know...in the bedroom?" You hint.

He nods. "Yes?" "What about it?" Splinter replies curiously. You smile and say it.

"Yoshi, I'm pregnant." You say almost in a whisper. Splinter doesn't hear you.

"I didn't quite get that, what did you say dear?" Splinter asks as he takes your hands.

You say it louder. "Ok, Yoshi I'm pregnant!" You shout not too loud but enough for the boys to hear.

Splinter gasps and grabs you in a tight hug. He kisses you passionately.

"That's great my dear!" "I am going to be a father of five!" "Have you told the boys?" He asks.

You smile. "Not yet, I'm going to tell them individually right now!" "Have you seen Leo?" You ask.

"I think he's in his room, I think they will be very excited!" Splinter grins.

You head to Leo's room to find him mediating. When he notices you he smiles.

"Hi mummy!" He says happily. You sit in front of him and smile widely.

"Leo sweetie, how would you like to have a younger brother or sister?" You ask gently.

Leo's eyes widen. "I'd love it, why?" "Aren't you sick?" He asks in confusion as he looks at you.

"Well, I'm pregnant which means in 9 months I will have a baby." "You boys will have a baby sibling." You explain.

Leo jumps up and hugs you. "Yay!" "I can't wait to see them!" "Thank you mummy, I love you!"

You laugh and hug him back. You need to tell Raphie now. How will he react?

You are about to walk into his room when you hear him talking to Spike.

"I already have two little brothers but I want another one day, maybe a sister." He murmurs.

Spike nibbles on lettuce leaf and looks up at Raph. Raph grins and picks him up.

That's your cue to walk in. He immediately puts Spike on his shoulder.

"How much of that did you hear mummy?" Raph asks nervously. You smile.

"All of it honey, is it true?" "Do you want a baby sister?" You ask exitedly.

Raph nods. "Yeah, why?" He replies. You grin and put him on your lap.

"I have something to tell you." You say. Raph picks up Spike so he can hear too.

"Raphie, soon you will have a little sibling, it might be a girl but it could also be a boy." You explain.

"Really?" Raph asks as his eyes widen in shock. "Cool!" He shouts.

"So are you exited?" You ask hopefully as Raph nods his head. "Of course mummy!"

After he hugs you, you head to Donnie's lab where he is working on an invention.
