Tmnt Mother Scenarios: Book 1

When You Spar/Train with them

Your children are still training, they are getting better each day. Sometimes, they like to spar with you for practice.

You're in the dojo, watching Leo train with Splinter. He's teaching him a new move with his katana, and Leo is having trouble.

"Ugh, I'll never get it right!" He says impatiently, throwing the katana down, letting it clang on the floor.

"Patience Leonardo, you will learn this new skill soon, it will take time, but you will learn." Splinter says calmly.

Leo sighs in annoyance. "Ok, I'll practice." He grumbles. Splinter nods and goes to help Raph.

You walk over to Leo so you can help him with his new move, as he's getting annoyed with it.

"Here honey, I'll spar with you, then you can practice your new move and you will get better." You say.

Leo frowns. "I don't want to accidentally hurt you mum, my katanas are really sharp." He warns.

You laugh. "I'll be fine sweetheart, I trained in ninjutsu when I was younger then you, plus I know how to block and dodge it." You reply.

You grab a sword similar to the katana. This is what you sparred with when you were a child, that's why Splinter chose the katana for Leo.

Leo smiles and agrees. You then start sparring. He actually does very well, he lands a swing with his katana, and you block it.

You swing back at him, and he jumps up, landing perfectly. He then tries out his new move.

He jumps in the air with his Katana above him and slices into the old dummy in the corner of the dojo.

You are amazed. Leo finally did it! You knew he could, he just needed a little help from you!

"Good job sweetheart, you did great!" You praise. Splinter comes back and pats Leo on the head.

"Well done, my son." He says wisely. "I knew all it would take was practice, I am proud of you." Leo grins happily and turns to you.

"Thanks mom, I finally got it!" He says excitedly. He squeezes you into a hug. You hug back.

"Your welcome honey, I love you." You reply as you kiss his forehead. He laughs and leaves the dojo.

Splinter then looks at you with 'the look'. "I think Raphael might need your guidance as well (Y/N)."

You frown, knowing how impatient Raph can get when he's learning something new. He wants to get it right away.

"I'll go talk to him, is he in his room?" You ask. Splinter nods and goes to help Donnie with his training.

You head to Raph's room to see him-and hear him punching the life out of his dummy. He looks mad.

"Do you need help with something, Raphie?" You ask quietly, approaching him.

He turns around and sighs. "I can't get this stupid move right!" He says angrily.

"What's the move?" You ask. "I'm sure I can help you practice." He smiles a little, looking less angry.

"Ok, thanks mum." He murmurs. He tells you what he was trying to do so you can help him.

He's trying to attempt a difficult sparring move by jumping and doing an upper cut with his weapon but he's having trouble.

"Alright honey, practice on me and I will help you to get it right." You say. He looks at you in  confusion.

"Uh, are you sure mum? I don't want to hurt you." He says in concern, making you smile.

"Don't worry about that sweetheart, I have been training for many years and I know how not to get hurt." You say.
