When They Feel Left Out

Baby Vivian is a month old now.

It's been a month since the birth of the newest member of the Hamoto family.

The boys have been very happy and exited to have a new baby sister.

But lately, you notice they are beginning to feel a little jealous and left out.

You are in the kitchen preparing a bottle for Vivian when Leo runs in excitedly.

"Mummy, will you spar with me please?" He begs. You sigh as Vivian begins to cry.

"Sorry Leo, but I need to give your sister a bottle, maybe later." You say hurriedly.

Leo's happy smile fades and he slowly walks away. You are too busy feeding Vivian to notice.

She sucks on the bottle of milk hungrily then you burp her. "Ba." She babbles.

You laugh and nuzzle her little brown tummy to make her giggle.

Later, you are sitting on the couch when Raph walks in holding Spike.

"Mummy, wanna play with me and Spike?" He asks politely. You smile and say yes.

All of a sudden, Vivian starts crying, she needs a daiper change. You wince at how loud she's actually crying.

Well, she is a mutant baby so she will cry louder than a human baby. Oh boy...

"Sorry Raphie, I need to change Vivian's daiper, why don't you play with your brothers?"

Raph frowns. "But mummy, I want to play with you!" He says with a cute little pout.

You sigh as Vivian's wails gets louder. "Not right now honey, now please go play with your brothers."

Raph nods sadly as you race to the changing table and change Vivian's daiper.

"There we go darling, all better." You say in a baby voice. Vivian giggles and you kiss her fur.

A couple hours later, you hear Donnie calling out to you frantically.

"Mummy, can you help me with my expirment?" "I need an assistant!" Donnie says.

You are just about to go help him when you hear a squeal of happiness from Vivian.

You gasp. She had managed to spill her mashed fruit all over herself and the floor.

"Sorry Donnie, I need to give Vivian a bath, ask Mikey to help you, maybe." You say quickly.

"But-ok mummy." Donnie says with a sigh as he sadly heads back to his lab.

Once you finally get Vivian clean, your exhausted so you put her down for a nap.

Just as she falls asleep and you sit down on the couch to rest, Mikey runs in shouting excitedly.

"Mummy!" "Guess what?!" He shouts happily. Unfortunately, the yelling wakes up Vivian who wails loudly.

You groan and look at your former youngest son. Annoyance choruses through your veins.

"Michaelangelo!" "Look what you've done, go to your room!" You say loudly.

Mikey yelps and runs to his room. You don't see the river of tears pouring down his chubby cheeks.

You look at Vivian and sigh. Now you have to calm her down and get back up sleep.

You didn't mean to snap at him, truth is, you haven't gotten much sleep in the past month, so your very irritable and tired.

Mikey ran crying to Leo's room.
"L-Leo! " He sobs. He tackles his older brother in a hug.
