You are at your 8th month now and your bump is humongous! You can barely even get up off your chairs and bed now!
You are always being watched over very closely because Donnie says the baby could come at any time.
"Mummy, you need to be really careful because the baby could come very soon." Leo warns.
"I know sweetheart, I'm being careful." You say with a laugh. You think it's adorable how they are fussing over you.
"I can't wait to have a baby sister!" Mikey cheers excitedly as he looks at the crib.
Currently, you and the boys and Splinter are decorating the baby's room and the boys are helping you.
The walls are white with pink polka dots. The crib is in the middle of the room with the changing table next to it.
The mobile that Leo made hangs above the crib, spinning around slowly while playing soothing music.
"Mummy, can I help you?" "Please?" Raphie begged. You sighed and nodded.
You are trying to arrange the stuffed animals on the floor but you can't bend down.
"Yes please Raphie, I can't reach." You mumble. Your a little frustrated because you can't do it.
"It's ok mummy, don't get upset, I'll help you!" Raph grinned up at you.
You smile and tell him how you want the toys arranged and Raph puts them neatly.
"Mummy, does that look good?" He asks excitedly once he's arranged them all.
You look at them and see all the stuffed animals lined up carefully.
"That looks wonderful Raphie, thank you very much you are a big help!" You praise.
He grins and hugs you, which is tough because of the huge bump between you.
"Mummy, help!" Mikey yelped as he got tangled in the ribbons. He was hanging pink ribbon on the mobile.
You try to lift him down but an aching pain on your back stops you. Ugh. How are you supposed to help Mikey?
Splinter hurries over and helps Mikey. He gently placed him down. "Are you alright my son?" He asked.
Mikey nodded. "I'm ok, thanks daddy!" Mikey he grinned, happy to be on the ground again.
"Mummy, can you help me please?" Donnie asks politely. He's painting the wall but can't reach the top.
You waddle over to help Donnie finish painting the wall, but you can't reach the top either.
You sigh and call Splinter who helps him. You feel a little helpless because you can't even help your own sons.
Splinter lifts Donnie up high so he can paint the wall. Donnie giggles and hugs Splinter with his messy hands.
"Thanks sensei." Donnie said happily once he had finished painting the wall
You slump on the chair and just start crying. Your just so frustrated that you can't do anything to help.
"What's the matter mummy?" Leo asks. He notices you are sad and hugs you.
You sigh again and hang your head. "I'm fine honey, just a little bit upset right now."
Leo immediately calls out to Splinter, Mikey, Donnie and Raph to come over.
"Splinter, guys, mummy is sad!" "We need to make her feel better!" Leo shouted.
Everyone immediately ran over to you. The boys hug you and Splinter kisses your fur.
"Mummy, what's wrong?" Mikey asks in confusion. He hasn't seen you sad in a long time!
You sniff. "I'm fine, it's just that I can't help you boys and do what I want to do because of this bump."
The boys hug you tightly. "Don't be upset mummy, we don't mind helping you!" Raph says.
"Yeah mummy, please don't be sad." Donnie begs. He wipes upon tears away and you smile.
"Thanks boys, I feel a little better." "I'm just a little bit frustrated." You admit.
Splinter plants a kiss on your face and pats your back. "Once the baby is born you will be able to do anything by yourself."
You look up at him and laugh. "Your right, I'm sorry boys." "I guess I should be thankful that you're helping me."
"We like helping you mummy!" Mikey replies as he kisses your cheek lovingly.
You stand up slowly and hug your family close. In one month there will be a living, crying baby in this room.
You all finish decorating the room and soon it looks beautiful. Fit for a little princess.
"It's hard to brought isn't it (Y/N)?" Splinter asks you later as your just about to fall asleep.
You open your eyes and look over at him. "What is Splinty?" You ask.
"That you are having a baby and soon you will be holding her and caring for her as your child." Splinter says.
You smile. "Yeah, it's crazy right?" You ask with a laugh. You can't believe it either.
You snuggle close to Splinter and fall asleep together thinking about next month.
"One more month (Y/N)."
