Now that you know your having a daughter, you've been thinking about the next 4 months.
For starters, what will happen when it's time for the baby to be born? What will you do?
You frown and rub your growing bump worriedly. What if something goes wrong?
"What is wrong (Y/N)?" Splinter asks you. He always knows when something is not right with you.
You grin a bit, despite your fears. You take a deep breath and let it out slowly. You decide to tell him what's wrong.
"I'm fine, I'm just a little worried." You say as you fumble with your fingers.
Splinter pats the spot next to him on the couch and you sit next to him. He puts one arm around you.
"What are you worried about dear?" He asks politely. You sigh and tell him all your concerns.
"Well, what will happen when it's time for the baby to be born?" You ask nervously.
It's not like you can go to a human hospital since your a mutant.
"We can help you mummy, I can take care of you!" "I read three books about labor and delivery!" Donnie says.
He had overheard the conversation and went to see when was going on, followed by his brothers.
"Thank you sweetie, I feel better now, but I am still worried about what might happen if something goes wrong."
"Nothing will go wrong mummy and if it dies we'll be right there with you." Leo says.
"Yeah mummy, Donnie is the best doctor ever, he'll make sure it gets born safely." Raph adds.
You nod, still feeling a little uneasy. "Yeah, I know but....I just can't help worrying."
Mikey jumps up from the couch and hugs you tightly. "Don't worry, just be happy."
You laugh. "Ok, I will stop worrying and be happy as long as you all give me a big hug." You tease.
Your sons all hug you and murmur sweet things over and over. You feel so much better.
You stand up with difficulty and smile at your family. "Thank you boys, I love you so much."
They giggle and snuggle close to you, nuzzling your stomach and Splinter smiles.
You don't know what's happening next, but whatever happens you will always have your family.
"See (Y/N), you had nothing to fear."
