When You Have A Nightmare

Your sons each had a rough night a few days ago, nightmares are occasional but will you and Splinter be next?

Your nightmare pov:

You were walking through the dojo looking for your sons and Splinter.

"Boys?" "Splinty?" You call out  from the door. Your cradling Vivian on your arms.

You suddenly hear laughing directly behind you and turn around with a gasp.

A human man, wearing all metal approaches you with a dark smile forming on his face.

"Do not worry girl, your sons and husband are in my chambers." He says.

You gasp and hide Vivian behind your back as the man grabs your arm.

He drags you to a large cell where your boys are lying, unmoving. Splinter is next to them barely breathing.

"Mummy, you didn't save us." Leo rasps. You scream. His plastron has three deep cuts.

Raphie has a gash on his head and is not breathing. He has turned nearly white.

Donnie's face has scratches, some deep some shallow. His mask has been torn off forcibly.

Mikey...oh not poor Mikey. His arms and legs are very bruised and cut. His face is bloody and bruised.

Splinter has deep cuts all over his body. The worst being the one in his neck, killing him.

You cry and hold your poor sons and husband very close as they take their last breaths.

"Why mummy why?"

No pov:

You wake up with an ear-splitting scream and jolt up in the bed.

Splinter, who is next to you immediately wakes up in fear. "(Y/N), what's wrong dear?"

You take a few deep breaths and wipe the tears from your cheeks. "I-I'm fine, just a nightmare."

Splinter sits up and turns on the light and pulls you into a tight hug.

"I'm here my dear, you are safe, what was your nightmare about?" He asks softly.

You sniff and tell him. "Well, I was in the dojo and a man wearing metal grabbed me and took me to his cell and he killed you and the boys!"

You tear up again as the nightmare floods back into your memory.

Splinter notices and hugs you tighter. "Shhh, it's alright how my dear, the boys are safe."

"Mummy?" Leo saws from the doorway. You look and all 4 of your boys are at the door looking at you.

"Oh, hi boys." "What are you doing up, did you have another nightmare?" You ask.

They shake their heads and climb onto the bed. "No mummy, we heard you scream!" "Are you ok?" Donnie says.

You nod. "I'm ok, I just had a nightmare." You admit. They all then hug you.

"Aw poor mummy, what was your dream about?" Mikey asks sympathetically.

You sigh. You can't tell them, they will be to frightened. "I'm sorry boys, but I can't tell you."

They all pout. "Why not mummy?" Raph asks with a little sad face.

"I....just can't." "I promise to tell you about it when you are older." You promise.

They seem satisfied and settle with snuggling you. "I'm still a bit shaken up though." You blush.

Leo holds your hand, Raph gets you some water, Donnie gives you a hug, and Mikey even gets Vivian from her crib.
