Karai has been here for a couple days now and Splinter is still in shock that his daughter, whom he presumed was dead for 16 years was alive!

You are doing well, your head is still kinda sore and wrapped in a bandage but you're fine, thanks to Dr. Donnie!

All of your sons are quickly getting to know Karai and are super happy and excited to have an older son sister.

Vivian, however has been acting strange lately. She isn't her normal bubbly self and has been keeping her distance a lot.

You are planning to talk with her as soon as you help Karai get settled in. She's going to be staying here permanently, of course!

You decide to give Karai her own room since she is technically the oldest and may want her privacy.

"Here you go honey, is it ok?" You ask as you show her the room. She nods and smiles. "Yeah, thanks Mrs. Shen, it's really great!"

"Oh honey, you don't have to call me that, I am technically your mum now so you can call me that if you want to." You say gently.

She smiles kind of sadly. "It's just...I was basically raised by Shredder and there wasn't really a mother figure I could turn to." She sighs.

You feel bad. Her real mum was killed so she didn't even remember her and she was basically raised without one.

"I'm sorry, I forgot that...you can call me whatever you want to, sweetheart." You say happily.

"Thanks, (Y/N)." She says with a wide smile. She then goes to look around her new room and lay out her few possessions.

A while later, Vivian walks up to you. "Hi mummy." She says, not exactly in a cheerful tone as you notice.

"Hi baby girl, so how do you like you're big sister?" You ask her, picking her up. She shrugs.

"She's ok, mummy....can you color with me?" She asks. You sigh. You promised Karai you'd show her how the boys trained and meditated.

"I'm sorry sweetie, I need to help Karai with something right now, but maybe on of your brothers would be happy to do it with you."

She looks disappointed, but head's to Leo's room while you meet Karai and Splinter in the dojo for practice.

"Ok mummy." She sighs. You watch her walk away and you go to the dojo. This is going to be exciting.

"Hey Splinty, hi Karai...you are going to start training with the boys soon, ok? I know Shredder probably taught you to fight we just need to know what you can do."

She nods and demonstrates her skills. She has definitely learned a lot from Shredder, she's practically a fully trained ninja!

"You are very highly trained, my daughter... I am impressed." Splinter tells her. She smiles, a faraway look in her eyes.

"Thanks dad...um was mum really good at fighting too?" She asks curiously. Splinter nods in surprise.

"Yes, in fact you're mother was very skilled with a katana, she fought very well, just like you." Splinter says.

"Dad...mum isn't secretly alive is she? She's really gone? She's not coming back?" Karai asks sadly.

Splinter sighs. "Yes, my daughter...she is unfortunately not coming back, I was very lucky to be reunited with you." He pulls her into a hug.

"I don't even remember her...at all." She says. Splinter nods. "I know, you were only a baby when she died."

Karai knows the story of the fire and everything and she has accepted it. She feels lucky to have survived to be reunited with her father.
