Today's the big day! Your sons are finally 8 years old today! Which means one thing...
They finally get their weopons! You and Splinter know exactly which weopon to give each of you boys.
You grab the four weopons and put them in the dojo. After breakfast, they can receive their weopons!
You head to Vivian's room to feed her and change her daiper. She babbles at you.
"Hi sweetie, mommy loves her baby girl!" "Come on, lets go make your big brothers breakfast." You say.
You pick up Vivian and feed her, then you make tea for you and Splinter, and eggs and bacon for everyone.
You even prepare a soft egg baby food for Vivian to eat, which she makes a mess of by the way!
Splinter sneaks up behind you and kisses your cheek. He gives Vivian a little pat of the head.
"How is our little cheery blossom doing?" Splinter asks, referring to Vivian.
You smile at the nickname. "Very well, she's eating all her food like a good girl!"
"Our sons are getting their weopons today." Splinter replies with a small smile.
You sigh. Soon Vivian will be all grown up and will be getting her mask and weopon, well not for a long time.
"Hi mummy, hi sensei, hi Vivian!" The boys say happily when they walk in.
"Good morning boys, I have good news for you!" "You will be getting your weopons today!" You announce.
Mikey immediately jumps up. "What's my weopon mummy?" He asks excitedly.
You laugh. "Sorry Mikey, you can't know until after breakfast." You say playfully.
Mikey pouts adorably but sits at the table to have breakfast. Donnie helps you feed Vivian.
"Mummy, when Vivian is older will she get a mask and a weopon too?" Raphie asks.
You nod. "Of course, but not until she is older, when she is 5 she will get her mask and when she's 8, she'll get her weopon."
After breakfast, you and the boys head to the dojo where Splinter is waiting with the weopons.
Even though they are very exited, your sons sit patiently in front of Splinter and wait. You hold Vivian in your peter lap and sit next to the boys.
"My sons, three years ago you began to train, now you will receive your weopons." Splinter says.
"Leonardo, come here." Splinter announces. Leo stands and walks quickly toward Splinter.
Splinter hands him two sword-like weopons called katanas. He then ties a belt with a L around his waist.
"Your weapon is the twin katana blades, it is like a sword only more advanced and sharp." Splinter says.
Leo smiles as Splinter slides the katanas into the belt pockets. He then bows.
"Hai sensei, thank you!" Leo grins. You kiss his head as he goes to sit down.
"Raphael, come here." Splinter calls. Raph stands and walks slowly toward Splinter.
Splinter hands him two prong-like weapons called sais. He then ties a belt with an R around his waist.
"My son, you have earned the sais as your weopon, they are very useful during fighting and are very sharp." Splinter announces.
Raph slides the sais into his belt loop and smiles at Splinter. "Hai Sensei!" He says with a bow.
You give him a hug and he sits down next to Leo, smiling proudly.
"Donatello, come here." Splinter says. Donnie jumps up nervously and sprints to Splinter.
Splinter hands him a long pole-like weopon called a bostaff. He then ties a belt with a D on Donnie's waist.
"My son, For your weopon I give you the bostaff, it is mostly used for distant combat, so you can attack enemies from far away."
Donnie looks happily at Splinter as he slides the bostaff into the side of his belt.
He then sits down next to Raph but not before you give him a big smile.
Mikey is last. He squirms uncomfortably on the floor. You know your youngest son has a lot of energy and finds it hard to keep still.
"Michaelangelo, come here." Splinter says with a hint of joy in his eyes.
Mikey I immediately jumps up and runs to Splinter. He watches in excitement as Splinter gives him nunchucks and ties a belt with an M around his waist.
"My son, you have a weopon called nunchucks, you will need to train hard to master them, there is also a small blade in them."
Mikey smiles widely as Splinter carefully puts the nunchucks in his belt.
Mikey immediately runs to you right away and hugs you. You hug back and smile.
Vivian, who is in your arms starts crying and Mikey calms her down.
"Shhh, it's ok Vi, you'll get your weopon when your older just like your big brothers!" He says.
Vivian then looks at Mikey and stops crying, instead she smiles and babbles.
"Mummy, I think Vivian likes me the best, she stopped crying when I talked to her!"
You grin and kiss his head. "I know, she really likes you doesn't she?" You reply.
Now that the weopon ceremony is over, it's time for lunch. You just know your sons will train we with their new weapons.
"Your sons have weopons now (Y/N)."
