"Happy Halloween!" Vivian cheers as she comes out in her costume. She's dresses as a princess.
"Happy Halloween Vi, your gonna have so much fun!" Leo says. He's dressed up as Captain Ryan from Space Heros.
Raph dresses up as a tiger with a fake tail and he's painted his face to look like a tiger's.
Donnie dresses up like a scientist with a lab coat and a fake box of chemicals.
Mikey dresses up as a piece of pizza. He's got a pizza box tied around his waist.
Splinter is a king, and your a queen. Your wearing a tiara and Splinter is wearing a kings crown.
You see, you introduced Vivian to Halloween when she was 5, so you could all go trick or treating together.
"But mummy, how come we can go to the surface as our real selves on Halloween but not on any other day?" She asks.
"Well, Halloween is the only way when everyone wears a costume but you can't go out any other day." You explain.
"Oh, ok so when we go trick or treating we don't really have to wear a costume?" She asks.
"That's right imoto, it is more fun to wear a costume, but no one will notice either way." Mikey tells her.
"Ok, can we go trick or treating now?" Vivian begs. You laugh and nod, leaving the sewers.
"Now remember the rules Vivi, stay with us and try not to get separated, there's a lot of kids out." Leo says.
"Ok, I'll stay with you onni-chans!" She agrees. Splinter pats her on the head, praising her.
So, you go around to many houses and trick or treat, soon getting a lot of candy.
When your walking back to the sewer, you see many children trick or treating and getting candy.
"Look mummy, there's a dog over there, can I go see it, can I?" Vivian begs in excitement.
You think a moment before turning to Splinter and the boys who shrug as they exchange glances.
"Well...ok honey but we are coming with you, and we should ask first before petting him." You say with a smile.
"Yayyy!" Vivian cheers, taking you hand and dragging you to the dog, accompanied by a girl.
"Hi there, my daughter was wondering if she could maybe pet your dog?" You say.
The girl turns around, dressed up as a witch is the little girl you saw several years ago. She's about the turtle's age now.
"Oh, hi I remember you from when I was 5, Mikey right?" The girl April says to Mikey.
"April, wow it's been forever dudette, how come we haven't seen you in years?" Mikey asks.
"Oh um well, when I turned 6 we moved to Arizona for a while, we just moved back here a few months ago." April says.
"Oh, cool!" Donnie buts in. "So um is it ok if our little sis pets your dog?" He asks politely.
"Of course, he's very friendly!" April answers as she gently picks up an old-looking dog.
Vivian gently reaches out to pet him and the dog licks her hand making her giggle. "Mommy, can we get a dog?" She asks.
"Um well...a dog isn't such a good idea where we live honey." You say quickly. April looks confused. "Don't you live here?" She asks. "Dogs are allowed here, they are really good pets for kids."
"Oh yes, um my husband is highly allergic to dogs, so it wouldn't be good for him." You lie.
Splinter nods and fake sneezes, making the dog back away and jump back into April's arms.
"Aw well, I have to go now but it was nice meeting you guys again!" April says as she walks away.
You all breath a sigh of relief. "Mommy, you lied daddy isn't allergic to anything!" Vivian says in disbelief.
"I know sweetie, I told a little lie because no one can know where we live or who we really are, ok?" You say gently.
Vivian nods. "What's the real reason we can't have a doggie mummy, they are so cute!"
"Well, a dog would not be able to live where we do because they need space and fresh air." Splinter explains.
"It would die?" Vivian asks with a whimper. You nod, giving her a hug to console her.
"Yes, so the only thing allowed in the sewers is turtles and mutants. like us." Leo says.
"Aw ok, I'm tired mummy can we go back home now and eat some candy?" Vivian says with a yawn. You check your watch. It's way past her bedtime so you should head back now anyway.
"Yeah, it's way past your bed time imoto, let's head back and eat some candy." Raph replies.
Donnie then picks her up and placed her on his shoulders for a ride. You all got a lot of candy anyway.
After a few minutes, you wait till no ones around and jump down a manhole to your home.
When home, you all dump your your bags. The boys and Vivian all got a lot of candy.
"This was the best Halloween ever, thank you mommy, daddy and onni-chans!" Vivian says as she eats a candy bar.
You kiss her forehead. "Your welcome sweetheart, we're glad you had fun!" You say.
You all eat some candy then go to sleep a while later still in your costumes. It was great.
"Best Halloween ever!"
