When Your On Your 'Time'

(Quick A/N: Ahem, girls only please! As y'all can tell by the title...though since this is a mother scenarios book, I'm pretty sure y'all are girls anyway XD

You groan as you climb out of bed as a cramping pain hits your stomach. "Ugh, screw you mother ducking nature!" You growl as you sit up.

Splinter looks at you. "You okay honey...?" You growl at him. "Satan's river has arrived!" He nods at that.

"Wait here, I'll be right back..." He says as he leaves, coming back with your favorite chocolate, pads/tampons, some hot tea, a heating bad and painkillers.

You smile. "Aw, thanks honey...now get out!" You growl as you start eating the chocolate. He slowly backs away.

Great, a week of misery has arrived, and not just for (Y/N) but for the rest of us as well! He thinks to himself.

Let's just say you get a little extra ratty when your on your period!

A little while later, you were lying on the couch, groaning. Leo walks in. "Need anything mum?" He asks.

"Can I just have a hug...?" You say as pitifully as possible. He nods and climbs on the couch as you groan again and use him as a pillow.

"I should have known not to fall for the hug trick!" Leo says as you lean on him. "You make a good pillow, sweetie!"

"Yeah, okay...can you get off my now...?" You groan. "Fine!" You let him up and pout a little. "You're no fun...!"

He laughs and strokes your hair as Raph walks in. "Please tell me it's not that time of the month again..."

You smirk at him. His eyes widen as he runs away. "Let me know when a week is up!" He calls from his room as he locks the door.

You laugh and continue lying on the couch because let's face it, you aren't moving from that spot!

A few hours later, you're curled up on the couch in the fetal position groaning. Donnie walks in and tosses you more pain medicine.

"Thanks Dr. Donnie!" You say with a groan as you immediately take some. He laughs. "I swear, you act like you're dying or something!"

You smirk. "Well, I feel like I'm dying, I'm bleeding from my-!" He cuts you off, "You don't have to go into detail!"

You smirk again as he runs out of the room. "Ugh, now I'm lonely!" You say as you lie on the couch.

Mikey walks in. "You okay mum?" You growl. "The red ducking death has arrived, what did you think?!"

He backs away as you sigh. "Sorry sweetie!" You never used to be so ratty...it's probably a side affect of the mutation.

He smiles and cuddles you. "It's fine mum!" He sits with you, cuddling you as you both watch TV.

You're family is used to your period by now, thankfully...their used to you groaning, whining, yelling at them and making them all look like cuddly teddy bears!

A little while later, you're lying on the couch when Karai walks in. "Hey mum...tough cycle?" She asks.

You nod. At least you finally have someone who understands! "Yeah..." She smiles a little. "I feel you..."

You and Karai spend the next hour talking about girl stuff. "I'm just so glad to have another girl who I can talk about this with!"

You smile. "Yeah well, I'm sure Shredder wasn't a big help..." She shrugs. "At least he sort of told me what to do and stuff, but it was so awkward!"

You laugh. "Well, you aren't the only girl here now!" She smiles at that and hugs you. "I love you, mum..."

"I love you too, sweetie..."

Later that day, Vivian walks up to you. "Mummy, why are you sick?" She says. "And why does your tummy hurt every month?"

"Oh...you'll find out when you're a little older, sweetie..." You say. "Let's just say that it isn't fun..."

She pouts. "Mummy, I'm almost 10! I wanna know!" She says as Splinter walks in. "Oh no...don't tell her, (Y/N!)" He says with a groan.

You smirk and explain the concept of periods to Vivian who looks at you in shock. "Are you sure you aren't dying, mummy?!"

You laugh. "I'm sure....I just feel like I'm dying!" Splinter groans. "I sure hope you two don't sync up!"

Vivian looks up at you both. "Sync up?" You nod. "It means we'd get our 'time' at the same time!"

She giggles. "Then we'd both be cranky!" You laugh. "You, me and Karai!" Splinter then runs away.

That night, you wake up in the middle of the night, groaning. Splinter looks over at you before pulling you close to him and cuddling you.

"Aw, my poor cherry blossom..." He says with a smile as he strokes your hair. "Can't wait for this week to be over..." He mutters under his breath.

"I heard that!" You playfully whack him with a pillow. He laughs and lies down next to you. "My sweet..."

You smile and cuddle him. "You're lucky I love you..." He smiles and kisses you. "Love you too...even if you are ratty!"

You whack him again before falling asleep. He smiles and cuddles you. "My sweet..." He murmurs as he falls asleep too.

This kinda stuff happens every month, but you're used to it now! Especially with your family to help you out!

Even if you can be a little....

Cranky...

Or annoying...

Or too cuddly...

Or needy...

They will always love you!
