When Vivian Goes on Patrol

"Everyone come down here, please!" You call as you sit on the couch next to Splinter. "Family meeting!"

Your sons and daughters immediately come down. "Are we in trouble, mum?" Leo asks a bit nervously.

You shake you're head. "No sweetie, you're little sister wants to go on patrol with you boys...and well, we're not sure..."

Little Vivian sits next to Mikey. "I can go mommie, I'm turning 11 soon...please? I'll be careful!"

Raph hums. "Well, she is getting older...but we can see why you're worried due to what happened last time..."

"But I was little then...I'm bigger now and mummy said I was almost as good a fighter as you!"

You smile and stroke her her hair. "Yes honey, you are...but we need to see what your onni-sans think, ok?"

She pouts a little, "Well mum...I think we should give her a chance, she is older...and she has gotten better at using her weapon."

Vivian perks up a little. "See mommy, Leo said I can do it!" You nod. "Yes sweetie, he did..."

Raph then sits up and looks cautiously at his little sister. "What do you think, sweetie?" You ask him.

"I think it's too dangerous mum, the Kraang can be pretty intense, she could get hurt or something..."

Vivian pouts. "You're not helping, Raphie.." She mumbles. Raph shrugs. "Sorry little sis, but it's the truth..."

Donnie hums and thinks for a while. "Well...I agree with Raph mum, after what happened last time..."

Vivian glares at him. "No fair Donnie, that was forever ago!" She whines. Donnie strokes her hair. "I know Vivi, but that's what I think..."

"Well Mikey, what's your opinion on this?" You ask your youngest son. Mikey jumps up excitedly.

"I think we should let her mum, and we'll know she's there this time, so we can protect her!" Mikey cheered.

Vivian grinned. "Thanks Mikey!" She hugs him. He hugs her back and smiles. "You're welcome, Vi!"

You and Splinter are torn. Half your sons think she is ready, while the other half think she is not.

"Mum, I have a suggestion..." Karai jumps in, smiling. "Yes, honey?" You say gratefully as you turn to her.

"Well...what if I go too? I'm an experienced fighter, and if anything happened, I'll bring her back!"

Vivian looks up hopefully. "Really, Rai-Rai?" She asks. Karai nods. "Of course, mum, dad what do you think?"

You and Splinter exchange glances. "Well...we can try it out and see how it goes?" You say, taking a deep breath.

"Yes...I think Karai is right, what do you think, my sons?" Splinter asks the boys. They all exchange glances.

"I think that could work!" Leo says.

"I'm okay with it." Raph adds.

"Let's do it!" Donnie grins.

"I think it's an awesome idea!" Mikey says excitedly.

You nod and look at Karai. "You feel good about this?" She nods. You turn to your little girl. "What about you?"

"I think it's good mummy, as long as I get to go on patrol with my brothers and sissy!" She says excitedly.

You smile. "Alright...I think it has been decided...Vivian can go on patrol!" Everyone cheers, especially Vivian!

Leo then pauses. "Vivi, you can go with is, but the moment anything happens, you're going home with Karai."
