Yesterday, your little girl got her mask. Today, she will start training just like your sons did when they were 5.
Vivian's Pov:
I'm really excited to train, I really want to make my mummy and daddy and brothers proud! I will do my best! I hope I do ok. I'm not nervous at all, I know I can do it! I just know I can...
No one's pov:
You head to Vivian's room to get her for training. Your so proud of her and just know she'll be a good little ninja just like her big brothers.
"Vivian honey, time for training sweetheart." You call through the closed door. Vivian immediately opens it and runs out.
"Is it time already?" She asks in shock. "Yay, I promise I'll do my best mummy, I'll make you proud!" She says.
You smile and lead her to the dojo, where Splinter is waiting patiently to teach her. She will be learning punches and kicks.
You both walk into the dojo to see Splinter meditating, looking thoughtful and calm. You clear your throat with a stifled laugh.
He jumps and looks at you as you try not to laugh. He scrambles to his feet, making Vivian giggle.
"Sorry Splinty, but miss Vivian is ready to train." You say with a wide smile. Splinter grins.
"Right, of course...I got a little distracted, let us begin training, my daughter." Splinter tells Vivian.
You sit off to the side in case Vivian needs help with anything, as training for the first time can be a tiny bit difficult.
"Hello my daughter, are you ready to train just like your onni-chans?" Splinter asks her.
"Yes daddy, I'm sooo ready!" She says happily. Splinter laughs lightly and guides her to a large mat. It's soft in case she falls.
"Daddy?" Vivian says as she looks off into a far corner of the dogo,"Daddy, who are those people?"
Your smile drops as you know what's in that picture, you know Vivian is too young to understand though.
Splinter turns to the framed photo of the woman and baby and his smile fades. He smiles sadly and turns to Vivian.
"I will tell you that story another time, my daughter." He promises. "For now, we shall train."
Vivian nods, forgetting about the picture. She faces Splinter and waits patiently for him to direct her on what to do.
"First, you will learn some basic punches and kicks, all the great ninjas start off that way." He explains.
Vivian nods eagerly as Splinter demonstrates a punch. Vivian copies him accurately. She is a fast learner, just like her brothers.
She wants to be a good ninja, you can see her determination and eagerness right away, you know she wants to do her best.
Vivian does well on the punches but when she does the kicks she has a little fall.
She was practicing a high kick when she lost her balance and fell on the mat which was luckily soft.
You immediately hurry over in fear that she got hurt because she was rubbing her left arm.
"Vivian, are you alright honey?" You ask ask you help her to get feet. She nods reassuringly.
"I'm fine mummy, it's just a scratch, don't worry." She says calmly, showing you a small cut.
Splinter grabs the first aide kit that he keeps in the dojo when the boys are training just in case they get hurt.
He gently cleans the cut and places a bandage on it." There you go, my daughter." He murmurs.
Vivian sighs sadly and looks up at you with a smile. "Sorry I fell mummy, can I try again?" She asks.
"Of course sweetheart, don't worry about the fall, Leo used to fall as well when he first trained." She giggles a little at that so you help her up. "Really?" She asks in disbelief. "I didn't know that!"
You laugh and nod. "Yes, but you will soon learn balance just like your brothers, your a very fast learner." You praise.
So, training continues and Vivian soon masters the high kick with no trouble at all. She is determined just like Raph.
After about an hour of training, Splinter smiles and bows to her. "That is all for today, my daughter." He says proudly.
"Ok sensei, I'm going to keep practicing my high kick!" She says happily.
"You did very well for your first try, we are proud of you." Splinter adds as he pats her head.
"Yes, you were a quick learner, you might even get to train with your onni-channs soon!" You announce.
Vivian grins and bows before leaving the dogo where her brothers are waiting for her.
"Hey Vi, how was training?" Leo asks cheerfully once he sees her. "It was fun, I fell but I knew that I just need to practice!"
"I'm sure you'll get it soon Vivian, what did you learn?" Raph asks in curiosity.
"I learned a cool punch and a high kick!" She says proudly as she demonstrates it.
"That's great Vivi, if you can do a high kick already that's awesome, it took me a few days to get it right!" Donnie says
Vivian giggles in excitement as she turns to Mikey who engulfs her in a bear hug.
"Soon, you can train with us Vivian, your going to be the best ninja ever!" He says brightly.
Vivian then pulls them all in for a hug. "I can't wait to train with you, onii-channs!" She smiles.
From the dojo, you and Splinter smile as you watch your children hug and smile, you know they will be great ninjas as they grow up.
"All your children are training now."
