Nag derecho kami agad sa office ni Meshach. Kahit hindi sabihin ni Tristan, I know that something fatal happened dahil dere derecho ang pagpasok niya sa office ni Meshach.

"Tristan, is there something wrong?" tanong ni Meshach na nagbabasa na naman ng libro. Walking library na siguro ito sa dami ng kanyang nabasa na libro.

"Lancelot Harrington just called me a while ago. Three of his cousins died. Meshach, werewolves cannot die. Can you please enlighten me?" Tristan said in panic.

"Take a seat. May sinabihan ka na ba about this?"

Umiling lang si Tristan. He asked me to sit beside him katapat ni Meshach.

"We have several family members who are currently stuck in werewolf form aside from Gwenevere. This anomaly started a year ago. This also happened to other werewolf families. I believe almost hundred of werewolves are now affected. Sinadya kong hindi sabihin sayo ito para hindi ka mag-alala," sabi ni Meshach kay Tristan.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Tristan dahil alam ko na nag-aalala siya para kay Gwen. It seems na para siyang iiyak. He feels desperate. He wants to do something, but he can't do anything.

"Meshach, why do you think this happening? I am really worried about my sister."

"Pero Sir Meshach, immortals po kayo di ba? Bakit namatay ang tatlong pinsan si Lance?" tanong ko kay Ezra.

It seems na kahit isang powerful na ancient werewolf ang kaharap ko, he has no match with this demon goddess.

"The demon goddess is too powerful. She's a former guardian, just like the guardian who created us. She can kill us if she wants too. Hindi pa siya siguro makapangyarihan sa mga oras na ito para gawin iyon."

"Is there a way to kill this bitch?" tanong ni Tristan.

He is clenching his fist at nararamdaman ko ang galit niya. Kung namatay ang tatlong pinsan ni Lance, malamang nag-aalala din si Tristan para sa kapatid niya. There is a chance na pwedeng mamatay din si Gwen.

"Only someone with a guardian power and a demon power can match her."

"Guardian power? Demon power? And who would that be?"

"Her chosen demon king," Meshach smiled bitterly.

"Demon king? That's another complication. How can a demon king kill her demon queen? It is as if you are saying there is no one that can defeat her."

"Tristan, I am asking you to keep this thing issue among the three of us. You are the Royal Heir. The whole clan finds strength in you. I also don't want to create panic. I already sent few men to take care of Gwenevere. You can focus with your wedding first."

Tumango lang si Tristan at lumabas ng library ni Meshach. Tristan asked me to join him for a walk. After the binding of souls and heart ritual, I can somehow feel kung anong nararamdaman niya. He is worried and sad, but he is also afraid.

Malawak na pine forest ang nakapalibot sa ancestral house. Hindi ko nga alam kung hanggang saan ang aabot ang property ng mga Eriksson.

"Tristan, bakit Royal Heir ang tawag sayo ni Meshach? Is it the same with the Direct Heir?" tanong ko habang naglalakad kami sa labas ng castle ng mga Eriksson.

"Direct Heirs are direct descendants of the twelve Alphas. There are currently twelve Direct Heirs right now including me and Lancelot. Royal Heir is like an upgrade."

"It sounds as if isa kang royalty. Wait, are you a Werewolf Prince?"

"Ezra is the ruler of the twelve Alphas and he is known as the Werewolf King. I am his Royal Heir, so yes, I am like a Werewolf Prince if you want to call it like that," naka ngiti niya na sagot sa akin.

"That's why princess ang tawag niya kay Gwen. Is that the reason kung bakit mo ko tinatanong noon kung gusto ko magpakasal sa isang royalty? Kaya ba maraming mga security details na umaaligid sa mansion niyo? Kaya ba bumibisita ka sa mga werewolf families?"

"Why do you sound so upset? Ayaw mo ba? Eliana, we are already married. We are even halfway to complete the Werewolf Wedding. Are you going to run away dahil nalaman mo na isa akong Royal Heir?"

"Kaya ba tinatawag ka ni Lance na Your Highness? Bakit di mo sinabi sa akin noon na Werewolf Prince ka?"

"Will that change a thing?"

"Yes, Tristan! It will change everything! Dapat si Lance na lang pinakasalan ko para hindi ko nasira ang buhay ng isang prinsipe na tulad mo!"

He just looked at me and his face is filled with variety of emotions. Sadness, happiness and anger. Lumapit siya sa akin and he suddenly cupped my face.

"Eliana, you did not ruin my life."

"I ruined your life, Prince Tristan. Napilitan ka magpakasal sa isang tulad ko to save me from being stuck in a werewolf form."

"Eliana, listen to me. Yeah, ginulo mo ang boring kong buhay, but you did not ruin it. I want you to keep that it mind, okay?"

"Pero---"

Tristan put his index finger on my lips to silence me. Ngumiti lang siya sa akin at feeling ko, hindi siya nagsisisi sa mga nangyari. I can somehow feel that he is happy that we are both married.
