(POV Eliana)

Professor Joaquim, also known as Joah waved his hands and everyone in the conference room started to move. Nagsalita uli si Tristan as if walang nangyari.

"You should know by now why your professor is here. Take a seat Eliana, we have a lot to discuss," sabi ni Tristan.

The room is filled with tension. Walang nag attempt na magsalita sa kanila. Tristan is carefully looking at me as if studying my reaction.

"Would you like to tell me kung bakit hindi ka nagulat na nandito si Professor Joaquim?" tanong niya sa akin telepathically.

"He froze the time and explained kung sino talaga siya. He gave me a brief summary of what happened for the last thousands of years."

"That's good. Now, I want you to listen to the old men and keep your mouth shut. You are here as my wife, not the Direct Heir of Joah. Do I make myself clear?" tanong ni Tristan sa isip ko. His face looks very serious as if may warning sa sinasabi niya.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"Eliana, I am serious. We need to keep your true identity in secret."

"Oo nga po, I will keep my mouth shut. I will stay here, sit and behave like a good dog."

Naputol ang katahimikan nang biglang magsalita si Sheldon. I think he is speaking telepathically with Janus dahil kanina pa sila nagtitinginan.

"Father, would you like to enlighten us why our two First Heirs are here? Why do you even summoned this young werewolf? She is a mere student, she should not be allowed to handle critical matters," tanong ni Sheldon kay Sherman na mukhang kinakabahan sa presensya ng dalawang First Heirs na si Meshach at Hezekiah.

"How about him? This holy ground is supposed to be restricted. No humans are allowed to enter this area! Salathiel will not be delighted with your decisions, Sherman!" sabi naman ni Janus.

It seems na hindi nila nararamdaman na werewolf din si Joah. Wala din silang idea kung bakit sila nandito. They don't even know na ako ang asawa ni Tristan.

"Professor Joaquim is an important guest. Eliana here was his previous student and will act as a mediator. He is here for to help us locate the traitors among us," paliwanag ni Sherman Campbell.

"Traitor? Are you referring to the werewolves who are serving the demon goddess? That's just a rumor," Janus said defensively.

"How would he be able to help us? Is he a fortune teller? A wizard perhaps?" tanong ni Sheldon Campbell.

"Let us say that he is gifted and all of the First Heirs trust him."

Tumango lang si Meshach at Hezekiah. They know kung sino talaga si Joah. Even Sherman Campbell seems harmless. Wala akong nararamdaman na evil intention from him. Janus and Sheldon on the other hand, are oozing with malevolent intent.

Tumayo si Professor Joaquim at dahan dahan na lumapit kay Janus at Sheldon. Bigla niyang hinawakan ang kanilang balikat and both of these men suddenly froze like an icy statue.

"Matagal na akong nakakakita ng mga pangitain tungkol kay Lilith, the demon goddess. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito, some of our family members are affiliated with them. I was in denial at first, but when I heard that some of our young werewolves succumbed to the curse of Lilith, I know that the hands of evil is currently at work," sabi ni Professor Joaquin habang nakatingin sa amin.

"I can feel a monstrous desire from both of these men. A wicked desire to gain more power in a malicious way. But my feelings are unimportant right now. I want you to see what really happened. Hezekiah, would you do the honor of absorbing their past, specifically four years ago when both of them met a man called Alastair," he added in a more serious voice.

Wala na ang Professor Joaquim na masayahin. It was replaced by his primordial version. Hezekiah followed him and touched their hands to absorb their past memories. Within seconds, his eyes widened with surprise and tears slowly began to fall down from his eyes.

"Eliana, do you feel the same sinister sensation from the two of them?" tanong ni Professor Joaquim sa akin and I just nodded.

After ko marinig ang pag-uusap nila sa stockroom, it seems like the barrier insulating them was suddenly shattered. I was able to feel the uncomfortable and dark power surrounding them.

"How about you, Tristan? You are the Royal Heir, the strongest among the Direct Heirs. Possibly stronger than the Werewolf King himself. Have you felt anything different about these two men?" tanong ni Professor Joaquim kay Tristan.

"Not specifically with them, but I have a feeling that someone is after me inside this so called sanctuary. The only time I feel safe is if I am with my wife. Other than that, I always feel that I am in an immediate danger."

"Janus Croft is a brilliant man. He was able to conceal not only their presence, but every connection that they have with the demons. Of course, they don't know that Eliana would be here and she was able to break their disguise," paliwanag ni Professor Joaquim.

The two First Heirs including Sherman Campbell remained quiet. This is just an outright testimony from the Thirteenth Alpha that there are renegade werewolves. Kahit si Hezekiah ay tahimik, but I know that the old man is still tears from whatever vision that he saw.

"Professor Joaquim, what happened four years ago?" tanong ko pagkatapos ng matagal na katahimikan.

"Alastair may be a demon general, but there are far more vicious creatures like him," sagot ni Professor Joaquin.

May mas worst ba sa demon general? Who would that be?
