Nawalan ng malay si Elle, pero buti na lang nandoon si Tristan para saluhin siya bago pa siya tuluyan na bumagsak. Dinala namin siya ni Tristan sa kwarto nila para magpahinga.

"Anong nangyari kay Elle?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Gwenevere nang pumasok siya sa kwarto.

"She passed out. The power of the dark demon witches is probably affecting her," sagot ni Tristan sa kanya.

"Baka buntis si Elle. Kuya, buntis ba ang asawa mo?"

"No, she's not pregnant. Bakit ba pareho kayo mag-isip ni Lancelot? Yan din ang una niyang tinanong sa akin kanina."

"Kuya, nag-aalala lang ako kay Elle. Kung buntis siya, bawal sa kanya ang stress. Naku, ikaw pa naman ang source ng stress at pain niya. Alam ko naman na pinapahirapan mo ang beshi ko."

"Excuse me?" taas kilay na tanong ni Tristan sa kapatid niya.

"Eh di ba napaka insensitive mo? Mahal na mahal ka ni Elle, pero si Olivia pa rin ang laman ng puso mo! There! I said it! At least alam mo na mahal ka na ng beshie ko in case mamatay man tayo sa digmaan na magaganap!" inis na sabi ni Gwenevere na umupo sa tabi ni Elle.

Imbes na sumagot si Tristan, tinawanan niya lang ang kapatid niya. Gwenevere does not know that Elle already confessed her love to Tristan. She does not know that her brother is already in love with his wife.

"Gwenevere, let's go. Elle needs to rest. Si Tristan na ang bahala sa kanya. Kailangan tayo ni Meshach at ni Hezekiah."

Gwenevere is one of best werewolves when it comes to fighting and combat skills. Sooner or later, both of us will be summoned by the First Heirs.

"Tinawanan lang ako ni kuya kanina. Tingin mo may mutual understanding na sila?"

"I guess so. Tristan is not exactly insensitive. He is just not fond of admitting his feelings pero hindi niya papakasalan si Elle if he is not attracted to her. He can ask any werewolf in your family to marry her."

"The field barrier protecting the Verde Sanctuary is now damaged. I need to speak with your brother," sabi ni Meshach kay Gwenevere.

"The barrier is broken? Meshach, we can be seen by humans especially during the attack."

"Being seen is not the problem as we are still protected by Phantasma. If there will be an attack, even satellites can't see what is happening, but any humans or witches can now get inside the sanctuary. Obscura is no longer in place. Any human beings near the Verde Sanctuary will be able to feel and hear the upcoming battle."

Inutusan kami ni Meshach na lumabas ng training facility at pumunta sa Greenfield kung saan nandoon ang ibang werewolves. Most of the First Heirs and Direct Heirs are here. Even some werewolves from the twelve families are already present. The Grayson family must have used their teleportation skills to bring some nearby werewolves dito sa Verde Sanctuary.

All of them have the weapon of their choice. Some are holding huge swords while other prefers small blades. Everyone looks ready for this battle.
